Beautiful GTC!!! Congratulations! The car is with you in CO? If your home and surrounding roads are at a high elevation you might need to adjust the carbs if the car came from sea level. When I shipped my car from Naples to NC for an event a few years ago some friends and I drove over to Roan Mountain in TN [elevation 6000+]. On the ride up the mountain the smell of fuel filled the cockpit as the engine power dropped. Set for 10' above sea level the carbs didn't like 6000'....lol! Enjoy your great new addition to your garage. I have been a HUGE 330 GTC fan since my first in 1976.
And you and she just met!!! What I appreciate so much about the GTC is it's versatility and simplicity. I don't hesitate to take it anywhere including the grocery store. When I had a Dino I would tell friends that while it's beautiful the Dino is the girl you want to date. But the GTC is the girl you marry....lol!!
Seeing those pics of your GTC in your garage reminds me of how neat this model is. So many times a restoration is not done correctly your car looks perfect to me and I love seeing cars like that. Obviously you must be ecstatic the color and the interior is perfect again a big congrats ,very happy for you !!!.
thanks Bruce.....yes it was very well taken far of (only 30k original miles). There’s a couple of things I need to address.....wrong oil filters and wrong engine bay rubber rain gutter trim. I’m also going to have a full service done in August......other than that she’s pretty much perfect.. appreciate the kind words Bruce
I think Larry Benson in TN has the rubber trim you need. Do you have the 330 GTC as-built guide that a devoted GTC owner from St Pete put together?
You are most welcome. I think you will really appreciate this incredible Ferrari the more you spend in the driver's seat. Of all the Ferraris I have had (16) the GTC has and always will be my favorite.
Your welcome I can see you are into detail which is great. Enjoy your beautiful new car in great health!
I will find it for you today. Larry is another 330 expert along with Clete, the author of the 330 Manuel. Both are FCA expert judges.
Just curious; is it really 'rubber'? 10313 had something more 'plastic'; hard, with some texture, not soft....
Ok 6 hours of detailing done Full clay and ceramic coating. Interior also treated.....time for a drive!! Image Unavailable, Please Login
I washed it first Then did clay bar Then I used a ceramic coating .... I do it I’ll the time.... by hand lol
