I came across an interesting site this afternoon:

    https://www.classic.com/m/ferrari/599/gtb/

While I was on it, it updated the Mecum action from today. (599 Manual sold @$429,000!)

Maybe I should've stuck this in the "Buy/Bid" thread...not sure. Anyway, more data points for those looking at 599's!

$187k for a F599 GTB? Hmm... I'm starting to sense a arbitrage opportunity. Where do you find these folks paying $187k?

If you click on the blue dots you’ll find that they are including some HGTE/GTO/manual prices in with the GTB’s. It’s still a good data though from the auction standpoint you just got to do a little investigation.

Hey guys - I curate the 599 market you mentioned above. We've tried to isolate the GTBs from the HGTEs and GTOs. If any of those slipped into the GTB bucket, please do let me know. However, we have not carved out the manual GTBs from the F1's. Those are definitely getting a premium so it may be a useful next step.

Any other thoughts or feedback is welcome!

    Hey Juan,

Thank you for chiming in! I think (take it for what it's worth) that the Manual cars should be a category of their own as they are 4-7x a GTB F1 car.

Juan- One other point. The HGTE was not available from the factory until late 2009, and as a 2010 model in the US. Anything earlier is a conversion and those have varying amounts of HGTE upgrades depending on owner desires. Upgrades are not nearly as valuable as original HGTEs and early 2007 599s (before SN 156938) cannot even have the ECU/TCU upgrades of later 599s. At one point Boardwalk in Dallas was offering the full upgrade kits for around $15,000 (plus installation). The kits originally sold for about twice that amount.

Definitely agree that upgrades cover a spectrum. I have seen the receipts for the upgrade on my car; it was $42K and has everything but the seats.

Very helpful. I built that into the rules and cleaned up the markets. Thanks!

Nice reports, just one remark from Europe. As it looks like you include auction taxes in the price, the sale two days ago in Monaco thru Artcurial was 82,000 € without taxes as you report but 97,744 € with taxes !
