Well, I wound up ordering #13 from that same vendor! Either his 125 Pounds was an error, or he realized that no one was going to pay that price. He dropped his price to 10 Pounds, and I ordered it!

Ordered one from him, too. Thanks for the head's up. Caught up on my Vantage magazines, also, since I was missing two.

How many magazines can claim they have readers searching the globe for a copy and being genuinely upset when they can’t find one?

Man. Enzo really blew an opportunity. Because, you know.....covid19:rolleyes:

I remember the first car magazine I bought, we lived in Germany at the time, soon after my dad brought Maseratis home and took me on rides was l'Automobile magazine with la nouvelle Ferrari 308GTB on the cover so 1975 ish, I was 11. Back then the only place you could find French magazines and papers was at the embassy in Bonn or Bad Godesberg where we lived, there was a construction site type portacabin up a few steps and there they were. Of course I bought a fair few Auto Motor und Sport etc too...Sorry Disney: no more Mickey mouse magazine purchases.

In 1982 when I went to the UK to chase cars I went to Ferrari Uk in Egham, Duncan Hamilton's, Greypaul the Ferrari place in Loughborough near Leicester, to a place that cut Daytonas into spyders near Brooklands etc etc but also to the editorial offices of Car magazine which was a wonderful publication back hen and spent hours choosing old issues:) Still have them of course.

Anyone here who received issue 13 out of their subscription? Any letter included with explanation or so? Last year i've paid upfront for a two year subscription because most problems were solved (distribution wise) for me. I've received them all within an acceptable timeline. Now Enzo stops and i've paid for one extra year... Not much money lost but very curious how Enzo (read Dennis publishing) will deal with this. My subscription on Octane has to be renewed in October and right now, this depends on the 'servicelevel' of Dennis publishing.

I have two individual/separate/overlapping two year subscriptions and did not get #12, nor #13, nor any letters, nor any replies to my emails. Zero, nada, nothing.
There is no such thing as a "service level".

Just ended a lovely chat conversation on the 'managmymag' page: https://managemymags.co.uk/login.aspx
    This is what i've learned:

Enzo ends after issue 13. All active and suspended subscriptions will be merged to Octane.

In my case i've already have an active subscription to Octane. So, the best thing was (suggested by the lady chatting with me) to cancel my subscription to Enzo and get the remaining issues refunded. The amount will be credited to my CC and will be visible in the upcoming week. After the chat you can ask for a copy mailed to your e-mail so you have written proof of what has been discussed. So, for now, no complaints.

    "Lovely" indeed.

And did they say that they eventually will ship Enzo issues #12 and #13?

Logged on to the chat this afternoon without any problem and with result.

    Hi,

You recently had a live chat with Quadrant.

Here is the transcript that took place during the session:

: Hi Maarten, how may I help you today?

Maarten: I've understood that ENZO magazine will be discontinued?

Charlotte: Enzo will be ceasing publication shortly, and the final issue is 13.

Maarten: Ok, but i've paid for a two year subscription last year. Order reference *********. Will i get a refund for the last remaining issues?

Charlotte: Enzo will be merging all Active and Suspended subscriptions to Octane.

Maarten: Customer nr. ************ name: Maarten *********, Netherlands

Maarten: Great, but i already have an subscription on Octane.

Charlotte: Ok, please hold for a moment while I look into that for you.

Maarten: customer nr. for Octane is **********

Charlotte: Having checked, it would seem that you have separate account for both the subscription. I would suggest you to cancel the Enzo subscription.

Maarten: Can i arrange this right now?

Charlotte: I can certainly help you with that.

Maarten: What info do you need?

Charlotte: I can cancel your subscription if you wish and the remaining balance will be refunded.

Maarten: Perfect, last issue will be 13? Rest of the remaining balance can be refunded

Charlotte: Yes, you still have 3 issues remaining on your account.

Maarten: Those 3 will not be published i understand so those may be refunded.

    Charlotte: Yes.

Maarten: Perfect, do you have all information which creditcard can be used?

Charlotte: As your subscription was paid with credit card, refund will be credited back to your credit card.

Maarten: It was, so CC number must be known

Charlotte: No, these details are not available on our system due to security reasons.

Charlotte: Please note that we cannot solicit card details via Chat or email.

    Maarten: So, what's next?

Charlotte: Credit card refunds will automatically be credited back to the original card charged

Maarten: So, no need to give the numbers now. When will it be refunded? What can i expect?

Charlotte: Refund will take up to 7 working days to get reflected on your account. You have a balance of £**,** for the remaining issues.

Maarten: Perfect, i wait to get a notice from my CC. Thank you for your help

Charlotte: I have cancelled your subscription and a refund on £**,** will be credited to your account.

Maarten: Superb! Thank you for your assistance

    Charlotte: You are welcome.

    Well,

    So far I didn't get my #13.
And I can't even check release date, because my managemymags page says:

We're sorry you are unable to access our site

Please be assured that we are working as quickly as we can to resolve this.

I've tried to write them, but to no avail...

I would have subscribed. Initially I subscribed, but had difficulty receiving my magazines by mail. So I purchased them locally.
I enjoyed the content because it was unlike Cavallino and Forza. I also receive Prancing Horse. I know several readers on these pages didn’t think Enzo was very good, but I for one will miss it.
It’s not like there aren’t any Ferrari related publications. But Enzo struck a positive note for me with the narrative and the photography.

While I never was a subscriber, I always went out of my way to purchase the current issue at my local B&N store.
I would have subscribed if I could be reassured that my magazine would arrive in an acceptable condition.
Not a big fan of online only formats. Something about having it in my hands and in my library when I a done reading it.

I get all the magazines I can and I can honestly say that this was one of my favorites.
The pictures always looked good and the articles were very well written.
Their ads were helpful when I needed to find things. The only down side is that everything is in Europe, far from the US.

Magazine gets a solid B+ in my grade book.

    Thanks,
    Gene Greer

I would continue to buy off newstands if it was still being published.
I'm not a fan of online magazines and books. I like to have something to hold and flick through.
So if it went online I'd pass.

I assume you mean the editorial content. Frankly it was ok, but could have been better. I would have renewed ...as I recently did...but I don't like online magazines. I would read it on line if free, but I certainly wouldn’t pay for it on line. I wish it hadn’t folded. The editorial content was worthwhile but was let down by distribution and marketing.

I don't understand how they could not manage their customers and subscriptions like they do with Octane, which is superb and have never had a problem with. Enzo was a fine magazine, and it is folding not due to "covid". but due to absolutely incompetent management and staff. Shame on them for their avoidable failure. They deserve to be unemployed, and the magazine will be missed by many.

I for one will miss it. I have all 13 issues, even driving all the way out to Dublin airport in the early days as it was the only place in Ireland where it could be bought. I then found Newsstand.uk and got it posted which was great during the covid lockdown. I hope it comes back in one form or another.

I would stay subscribed but print only. Absolutely not online. Enzo filled imho a gap between Cavallino and Forza. I think it can be best compared to the German 'Maranello World' (before 'Ferrari World')

After a casual review it looks like the final issue will be one of the best.

I have an extra copy of #8 if someone needs it to complete the series. $25 shipped first class mail within the US. I will ship to other countries for actual costs.

The first person to pm me takes it.
