I have a pair of earrings from a family member who passed away a while back. They have been sitting in my safety deposit box for over ten years now, no idea what to do with them. Wife's not interested in them, I dont blame her, they are a bit over the top.

I've thought about taking them to a jeweler to make them into a tennis bracelet, or several other smaller pieces of jewelry. Also though about selling them as lose diamonds, but I don't know how. They do not have any special sentimental value to me or any of my other family members

Off the top of my head there are:
    114 round ~.25ct stones
    74 marquise roughly ~.3ct
    2 ~.5ct marquise

Knowing the person they would have to have been a d-f, if-vs1.
    Thoughts?

I wouldn’t have high hopes for a high value.

You could find a jeweler who goes to the Gem Show in Las Vegas and sell them there.

Or repurpose them. Here’s a piece my departed mother had made. The gold is worth far more than the diamonds, but both nicely augmented an otherwise ordinary strand of black pearls.

A quick google search indicates Giovane is an Italian jeweler that had/has a bit of a cult following. Here are a few listings with links to sellers. I have zero knowledge about the reliability of these sellers.

Do you have a website where you offer watches and or vintage jewelry?

I though someone on this sub thread was a well respected reseller, apologies if not you. I couldn’t recall, am interested.
