Mine's a stage 1 Steve, which means the valves are closed until max. acceleration. The only difference between stage 1, 2 and 3, I believe, is when the valve opens.
Ah, ok. Yes I believe they are all the same at WOT, but the stage 1 is quietest when pootling around. I thought you meant you had one that has the remote control that you can operate at any time to make it quieter / louder.
No, but I'm thinking about getting one from one of the guys on here. Sometimes I'd leave it off completely as well as on all the time for track etc
I think i remember hearing keeping the bypass open is problematic. Check it out and get back to me please.
I have no idea Steve, it’s an Ozzie car, the only person who might have a clue is the original owner, another Adrian but I’m led to believe he’s a little hard to get hold of [emoji6]
I recon I’ll be due for new cats in the not too distant future, someone mentioned straight pipes [emoji51]That would give the old bags a run for their money [emoji12]
I’m surprised the check engine icon doesn’t keep coming on with these new fancy sports exhaust systems
The only thing that will bring the CEL on with a different system is the O2 sensor, and that would be the post cat sensor. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
No .. perhaps mines broken, I’ll refer to my ferrari 360 Spider workshop Manual for further clarification on the subject. Thankyou [emoji238]
Is that street near your home / office/ regular haunt or just some random place you’ve driven recently? Easy way for someone (gutless) who has a gripe with you to create a nuisance. Don’t know why you jump to the conclusion that their a ‘greeny’ though - more likely just some loser with time on their hands.
