They are in business and have a new manifold design for more equal airflow to the cylinders, previous versions had an open manifold, some people would modify them for more volume. The supercharger package is $5-6k depending on 2.8 or 3.2 liter blower.

Easily. But I cannot drive rear engine cars very well. The ACR has incredible downforce. And frankly, as much as the ride quality is denigrated as being undriveable on the street, I don’t think it’s any worse than an RS, AMG GTR, 600LT, M4GTS.

Of course I prefer the Speciale, Pista, and 675 on the track. But none has the downforce of that ACR. I added some four point belts so you could stay in the seat while downshifting and braking.

Honestly, it didn't feel as fast or hard hitting as I remembered ( owned a 2001 RT/10 ) many years ago. I also missed the "wail" of the GT3 that I sold a couple of years ago. Different cars I know and I still think it's a great looking car … Just need to ponder if I want to park this in my garage or shop for another GT3.

Gonna pass on mine. Haven't driven one, and from everyone I talked to, won't be what I am looking for in a car.

Have a GT350 en route. I would strongly suggest you check those out. Seems like literally the cross between those two.

I was considering another Gen II Viper and finally decided not to since the only things pulling me to it was looks and sound (with a proper exhaust system). Good luck with your decision!

Looks are intoxicating. Having never driven one though I consulted a few former owners. They know me well and know I like my GT cars (new NSX, 09 911) and said I would find in a little old and slow. Props to those that love em but not what I am looking for

I am telling you look into GT350s

FYI, a lightly modified Viper (GEN2/GEN3) will run with most of the modern stuff under $100k. GEN4 will outrun most of the modern stuff around $100k. GEN5, depending on the model, will run with just about anything with or without turns. CalvoTT Vipers are running with the best Underground Lambos can throw at them. The one thing all Vipers do, very well, is go fast.

That '09 911 better be a GT2, GT3 or TT to hold a candle to a Viper in the performance arena. . . . if you're talking comfort, versatility and quality of materials, that's a different story and the Viper falls short in those arenas.

    BTW ...

It’s a MN car, three owners ( St Paul, Stillwater, and Sartell ) with ~ 13,000 miles on it.

The dealer is literally a mile from my girlfriends house and I’ve been thinking about Vipers ( obviously ), so I had to go check it out.

Lightly Modded TT. Also has the versatility and finish those are more the qualities i search for since i can toss thebkids in the back. Yeah they said they are pretty quick but there is nowhere to drive em that fast. Hoping the gt350 is a conpromise

I don't know. Looks like a clip joint...but that's just a perception. Kind of like the places along Hwy 10...
