    I do have an idea. Maybe the dealer in Nottingham had a built allocation available when you ordered your car in January. And, have you tried the customer service of Ferrari to change the dealer?

    Mt portofino journey reached a milestone: car has been delivered to the dealer, paid for, registered in my name but I cannot pick it up for couple of weeks (my choice, not the dealer's fault). Does that make me the biggest nitwit in the Ferrari world??? Sure feels like it. :p

    Call from the dealer. It’s on the transporter and with them this Friday. Collection provisionally planned for next week.

    I was leaning towards a rosso with black interior car over an Azzuro California even after speccing both at the Atelier in maranello. We saw that leather on the cutting table in the factory and called back in with that design. It’s the small things that make the memories.

    Wow - really nice - and very different! Congratulations. Would be good to see the Personalisation Plate at some point as there are some options on your car not seen before.

    Some of the design elements are in a Ferrari book Titled Programma Allestimenti Speciali from 2018.

    Official Dealers might have a copy for anyone interested in perusing. It covers all of the 2018 models including 812 and 488.

    Very nice, I hadn't seen such baby blue trim before but it goes perfectly. Usually see people sticking with navy/Sterling on the crema or sabbia, maybe with some yellow bits.

    Collection day :)

    Heli from Goodwood circuit to near the dealership for a Michelin 2 Star lunch at Niall Keatings Whatley Manor. Dealer arranged for the car to be taken there for the hand over. Superb buying process with Dick Lovett’s.

    Lunch was great but I just wanted to get the car moving. Then some great roads over Salisbury plain and the south of England with Elbows “One day like this” on the stereo......and it was Perfect!
