    Wasn't this the year of the V12? Even though it would be relativly easy to use the F8 platform for the "new" F40

    I wouldn 't think so. The Soloviev turbofans on the 31 are 50% more powerful than the Tumansky turbojets of the 25 and the Foxhound is no draggier. Anyway, they are both diabolically fast. Sorry for the off topic.

    Agreed. The primary reason for putting gun back in holster on this one. If was road legal, I’d have emptied quicker than John Wayne and Clint Eastwood combined

    I gotta say! This Icona looks good from every angle! Probably the best Ferrari design since Pininfarina designed for Ferrari in 90s.

    Looks fanfastic!!!! LOVE IT!

    Sorry guys Im just so excited to see something like that come out from Ferrari design.

    In what world did this lump (Mig 31) ever hit Mach 3.2? With reflective airframe and draggy missiles on the pylons, this thing is a turkey....looking for a platter.

    This is way off topic, but the Israelis have clocked the less powerful MiG-25 at Mach 3.2 over their territory. They fired SAMs at it, but the pair MiGs outrun them.

    one of the two 2020 Ferrari new models is the "new F40" one off, the "F42" or the name it will have.

    Just one unit (a single one-off), 488 Pista/F8 based: rumors say that.

    Interesting that Ferrari would choose to do a one-off of the “new F40” when they could have easily made 500 of them in the Icona program and sold each and every one. Wonder why they’d do that?

    My guess; it would be for T.K. Mak as he said there was also another car coming. The earlier P80/C was also a ' one-off ' though that Ferrari could be set up in two different versions...

    Maybe I did not understand very well this rumor and it's an icona car and not an one off. I heard "a special car related to the F42 project": so, as they told "car" (singular) I guessed "one off", but maybe it's an icona limited series. And will be introduced very soon: I saw some pieces.
