I was all for opening the borders earlier for the tourist industry but in 2020 hindsight it appears the closed borders was the better decision and Gladys should have closed the NSW/VIC border sooner, she did well to recover from the Ruby Princess disaster You have to wonder how NSW didn't have the same disaster VIC had with the hotel fiasco .... are NSW people more disciplined ?
I think all you have to look as is the DADPoo non mask wearing drongo's to guage the mentality. I'm sure ignorance and language barriers can't just be the cause of their nightmare....again NOTHING has been discussed/shown re the BLM B/S
Maybe on Cathay, but we're going Jetstar... Apparently at the moment they're not even selling any food on board, let alone BJs. Better make a couple of vegemite sangers and I wonder if I can BYO scotch?
Its the only way to get to Cairns direct from Adelaide! To be fair, I’ve done that flight many, many times and only been let down once.
You’re luck my rate was 3 out 4 attempts failed. Don’t play those odds any more. That’s why I hope Virgin survives as I don’t want to be stuck with Jetstar out of MCY. Alliance is now doing flights from here to CNS so will be interesting to see what pans out.
Yes MCY is one of those that you really do have a good chance of a no-go. My Jetstar Captain mate did explain why to me once but I can’t remember exactly what the story is. There are a few routes where that is the case. ADL - CNS however is a pretty reliable flight. The only time I was let down was due to an aircraft issue while we were taxiing to the runway. Can’t do much about that.
Actually the fails weren’t just MCY. Also Mackay- Bne and Mel - Launceston ( how the hell can a half hour flight run 2 hours late - answer probably because they cancelled it due to low bookings).
