Hey guys, Got an odd issue with my transmission. I have had my accumulator replaced due to it crapping out. Car drove normal after. After an hour of driving it started to fall out of gear during some shifts, so I got the entire system re-bled. Now I am getting an Ediff light when I start driving (and after an hour of driving it falls out of gear again). Any idea what the isssue could be? Thanks
Any chance the pump is a bit worn, as the oil gets hot it is having a problem maintaining the pressure. Pump motor on its way out or fuse or relay . You get an hour before problems so something heating up ?
Hmm could be. I was thinking air in the system so got the entire system rebled. There is absolutely no air in it now. Ediff issue happens right away. The falling out of gear happens within an hour.
Can you get codes pulled ? Can be any of the following Faulty ediff solenoid Loose screws on actuator Bad / weak pump Bad actuator Potentiometers How many miles ?
