Very nice low mileage, very original, classic Kamm tail Alfa Spider for sale. Before the horrible DOT giant rubber bumpers were mandated. XLNT condition, beautiful respray in Farina Red. Car currently is Scottsdale, AZ at well known Alfa Expert Rex Chalmer's shop. $22.5K Please see photos and read Rex's evaluation below.

Dailied a 74 for a couple of summers. One of the most fun cars I've ever had. Best of luck with the sale, a couple of underbody pics would likely help. Where are the speakers installed?

There is something about these cars that you could sit blindfolded in one and know exactly what you are in immediately..Its the relationship between the clutch pedal and the way the gear shifter goes into gear that is a giveaway. when in gear you can feel the torque shift of the engine on the engine mounts. it feels like a rubber band drive!
Actually dont the CV joints have rubber bumpers?
    I had a 1750 and a 2000 GTV and duetto...So much junior Italian fun!

Is the top reasonably water tight? Any major wind leaks?

You refer to the elusive Guibo Joint.

FIAT Syders have them not sure about the Alfa, in place of a front "U" joint.....

Top is a bit funky and seems to have several patches and the rear plastic window looks to have been replaced... Probably still waterproof and tight BUT to be sure I will include a new cloth top from Centerline... New owner's responsibility to install... :D

Yes, Alfas used the Giubo "doughnut" for decades... a number of British and German cars used it too... Including the Porsche 917... !!!
