Let's just say the top was down and people in the next state over probably heard me drop a few dozen F-Bombs.

So so sorry. I'm trying to imagine how I would feel if that happened to me. I don't want to keep trying to imagine that.

Ouch. Sorry to see. Doesn't look too awful, though ... airbags went off?

It can be fixed! Is the frame ok? I know it’s a huge bummer but a new paint job and all new front end parts may be a silver lining. Hope she’s back on the road soon!

Yeah. Air bags ended up going off. First wreck I have ever been in and of course it’s in a Ferrari after I had it a month. Hahaha such is life I suppose.

Not sure about the frame. Was only going maybe 25 or so. Wonder how a wreck would impact the warranty on the car since it was CPO?

Don't sweat it. It happens it's a car, you have the F - bug, this won't be your last Ferrari. Get it fixed, drive it, enjoy it. Sell later and move up. Sure it's a bummer, but don't sweat it too much.

If you were not at fault, seek damages for reduced value. There are a few appraisers who list their services on the F club of NA magazine.

Appraisals start at abt $700 up to abt $2k with Court representation extra as needed. For newer generation of F cars, appraisals are on the lower end bc there is a lot of market data. Most insurance companies won't help their clients with this. So you will likely be on your own chasing this down.

Hence, make sure whatever your settle on to repair your car, you Don't sign away your right for additional demands.

My X 1/9 was a "lady" magnet! I think it was too small for them to see. :)

Good luck getting her pretty again.

Holy carp! Glad you're OK, McG. Don't let this be the end of your Ferrari dream. Hope it's just the start of the next chapter...T

Sorry man. This just happened to me three weeks ago, too. My 458 was totaled by a lady turning left across my lane.

Don't neglect your health though. Get checked out ASAP.

Nah. Certainly not the end. Just have to see how it shakes out. If it’s totaled and I get what I should from insurance I am finding a Cali 30.

I sorry you had to go through that experience. Hopefully it's repairable or insurance pays enough for you to buy another Ferrari.

This happens to many. Twice with the 488. It is what it is. As long as nobody gets hurt, it's annoying as hell, but that is what happens in traffic. My view has always been the same. If you cannot handle the thought of this thing happening, don't drive an exotic. What's the fun in worrying? I don't understand people not parking or not being able to ejoy a meal at a restaurant. It's a car, there's insurance. Downtime sucks when you could be out driving. Life goes on and the car will be fixed.
