The stripe makes the exhaust sound much louder.

i noticed that your total stripe width is much narrower than the Pista's.(40 cm) Is the F8 ( narrower) S duct the reason for that? The contour of the top of the S duct is a major challenge for the vinyl installer. Or maybe you just wanted a narrower stripe profile?

The S Duct of the F8 is 3” narrower than the Pista.

Now I am confused. I thought you were trying to be a Pista but the stripes are all wrong?

I seriously think that looks awesome and really suits the F8.

I hate the front of my 488 and recently I have been considering striping her to fill the gaping void of nothingness otherwise know as the bonnet in UK or Hood in the USA. Looks great, but I am one of the few who prefer the design of the F8 to the more “choppy and squared off” Pista.

The car looks amazing. You have to focus a bit because it looks like a pista. And probably the hardware is 90% the same....
Same engine but with PF, same gearbox but with different software (pista in race makes super hard shifts), same suspension and tires but different software, same chassis and brakes.
Who knows some company will sell all the softwares so it behaves like a pista.
    Still, it’s not a pista.

This looks amazing! Congrats. I have no problem with the stripes whatsoever. Almost looks like it could be a factory option.

Looks fantastic and don’t worry about the haters. It’s not about you trying to make your car look like a Pista it’s a novel idea you just like the way the stripes look!

    Congrats!

The Italia and Speciale have different hardware all over the Pista and F8 have software differences.
No wonder some pista owners wear seriously pissed when Ferrari launched the F8. Its just a pista in heels, and made a travesti of the loyal customers that buy the track editions.

Just picked up my F8, coming from the Mclaren, porsche and AMG world, the F8 is a breath of fresh air. Just a different level.
