I was watching that one closely. not quite what I would spec but for the right price would have deigned to welcome it into the garage. someone got a good deal. Image Unavailable, Please Login
That was what I thought too. Not a big fan of the spec and it definitely don't strike me as very unique. It's a different yellow, but other than that, meh. Sent from my SM-G930F using FerrariChat.com mobile app
Aside, i wonder if it chaps the Sotheby's people that their perfectly kerned logo is now mashed in with RM's "typed quickly into MS Word clip art mode by an old guy with zero graphic design experience" logo.
Quite a bit of custom detail Now, whether it makes the car worth 600kUSD Is subjective To the original owner? Clearly. To everyone else..? Not so much. Perforated Alcantara w power clashing color underneath would not be my choice given the array of delicious leather available, but I wasn't the one who spec’d it. Image Unavailable, Please Login
I get the Because He Can! POV but it's sad to see such a custom order given up on in 2 years. This buyer got a heck of a deal, considering.
The 812 is a helluva rig in its own right, but I would argue that there was no bargain whatsoever as the market merely corrected the original buyer’s overpriced ostentation.
100% agreed. Bold specs are always a risk. The buyer likely finds the spec choices to their liking, and if so, more power to them. Plenty of room in this world for a non-red/black/gray 812.
