He is in the car, makes the effort and brings the results home to a team that keeps him in the team. Id love actually to see you say that to him in person in the paddock. Thats an interesting insult.
Lewis had difficulties saying anything on radio after the race ended. He was thinking on what to say Huh Hmm huh I bet he was thinking..."man even Maldonado could have won this in this car....so easyyy" But he was PC as usual and just said Wow great job guys....
We would be happy with years of Ferrari domination. I was and I was bored at times and did other things as the race was on. I have zero issue with Mercedes. Others want to compete. They must do some things like Mercedes to do so.
I would have zero problems telling BOTH the Ballerina and the Butler on their face their success is 65% and 78% , respectively, due to the MB 1500 excellent employees and their top notch car
As a die hard Ferrari fan I have to admit I was bored sometimes in 2004. I should have appreciate it more..
Well enjoy that moment and get a 'selfie' of your accomplishment. I would not do that and Ive spent just a touch of time in the paddock and had meals with drivers/principals etc in the paddock. I was grateful the people who cared for me there allowed me to enjoy those moments and not toss out insults to members of a given team. The team decide who they want. Good luck in changing that.
Redbull has more employees than Haas, you can have 10 thousand employees, but there is only one seat in the car, and Max/Hamilton is the one who's sweating it out, getting results.
I wasn't so much "bored" by 2004. I can appreciate the back marker racing, too. But it *did* kill my resolution to wash my Ferrari whenever Ferrari F1 won. It was too much washing.
In the end , team manager should improve the Brand image with the results. But with this Mercedes uber dominance we are in a situation where another victory is a non event. Perhaps it will also be seen as negative in a near future because potential consumers don't want a totalitarism in a sport. They need to bring some uncertainty. But maybe they will leave the sport without being defeated in 2022?
I can enjoy Spa and Monza for the pure grandeur of the historic circuits that they are. After that, I think I'm done with F1 2020. What's the point?
So far the board appear supportive, and with costs to go down potentially why leave. They must derive a good benefit.
Recap: The race of tire managers. F1: Pirelli racing themselves -- and losing. Start: Some will disparage this, but it looked, to me, like Merc had passed the word to not fight each other before T1 ... to preserve tires. So Lewis took off at a leisurely pace -- that got Bottas swamped by back markers who *were* pushing early. Credit Vettel for getting across the line on bald tires. I half expected a Ferrari double DNF. But remember that Vettel didn't get any more laps out of his mediums than Charles got out of softs, at the start. That left Vettel stranded on softs for over half the race. It's a surprise that Albon didn't catch him. I don't know what's worse: that emasculated Ferrari engine, or Ferrari's abysmal race strategy. Telling Vettel to "push", and *then* asking about stretching the tires to the end? Sheesh. Are they using a "magic 8-ball" to make race decisions? Sainz showed a bit of spunk, on track. Ferrari will have two really good young drivers, next year. Now if only they can put a car under them. (And not squark up the race strategy.)
I mean u like to compare teammates right. Hamilton 1st bottas 3rd, max 2nd and Albion 8th. Do u think it would be that easy for Lewis with max as a teammate ? Nope. The Mercedes are a lap faster than anyone. They are on another planet. U are right on one thing though: 2 top drivers can rarely co exist...look at Prost and senna a big mess, Alonso and Hamilton another big mess... wouldn’t Work. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Not really, f1 ratings are down. People naturally get bored of the same results, naturally we all want change. It’s like that in every sports. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
This will be fun to see in Ferrari. Looking forward to this pairing next year. The car will be the car. The competition between these 2 will be the focus for me.
