So where are the untrue facts of the headline? His leadership has been dire - first he claims it’s nothing to worry about, it’ll all be gone in a week; then he claims a simple drug (hydroxychloroquine) can prevent getting sick, then he claims masksare useless before pivoting and saying they’re good... That’s not leadership, that’s shooting your mouth off on the fly.
Another reason why after nearly 35 years I cancelled my subscription. Instead of "news", the CT has become nothing more than a conglomoration of left leaning and virtue signalling opinion pieces that is becoming more strident in its views as its finding it difficult to cope with its irrelevance. The CT is trying to appeal to a market (young, virtue signalling ,left public servants ) that have moved away from print media and that leaves only a pool of ageing, retired, ex public service 'hippy" boomers that have nothing better to do than write letters to the editor. I predict CT will dissapear in print form within a few years.
..... and correct, Trump is a clueless moron lauded by dimwits and rednecks .... which one are you ? His main "trait" is that he is the most divisive president I have ever seen, but then you like that The only thing he got right was shutting the flights from Chin-AH ...... over 48,000 new cases yesterday , maybe we should lend the US ScoMo ?
Don't underestimate me....I'm a dimwit AND redneck. He's divisive, is he? Did you hear that on CNN or ABC? Same "news" outlets Karen listens to obviously.
I watch CNN, Fox, ABC, Sky and 7 or 9, and then make up my own mind .... as small as it is I laugh at who the people elect in the US, bloody amazing ...... I'm waiting for the wily coyote to get elected ... it's not beyond the bounds of possibility with them
I reckon all anyone has to do, boring as it may be, is listen to a couple of Trump's speeches... Start to finish.... Then listen to how they're reported to realise there is very little fact to anything that the journalists tell us. They all have an opinion and an agenda. Constant misquoting and editing of excerpts to suit their audience and opinions. Disgraceful really.
The mail in envelopes have R or D on the back, easy for the post office workers to deep six the Republican ballots--don't be confused on the Democrat plan.
I was not impugning BJ's literary skills, rather a system that could allow that to happen - it doesn't make sense. Even a postal ballot for a car club has an envelope within an envelope - perhaps he's got it wrong.
Like I said, comprehension issues, BJ may not B that Bright if he can't explain a simple mail in system ..... just another example of the "intelligent" Trump fans spruiking rhetoric Trump utters
I’ve done a little research and it seems to suggest there is no way for anyone to know how the person voted without opening the outside envelope - as you’d expect. ie. There isn’t any indication on the outside of the envelope.
I think the real issue is knowing who actually voted and if the votes get to the final destination in a timely manner.....if at all. The Dems are playing dirty IMO. Why are they suddenly pushing so hard for postal votes? Something stinks. Just over two months out? Nope...suss.
Oh yeah it’s definitely dodgy. As an aside, isn’t it interesting to see the different reactions to: 1) Saint Jacinda delaying the NZ election. Reaction: very sensible decision. Isn’t she wonderful? 2) Trump wondering if the US election should be delayed. Reaction: WHAT?! How dare he! He’s trying to be a dictator! etc. etc.
Probably because so many are dying of Covid and they don't want to stand in cues!! Is there really any way of stopping any sort of vote hijacking. No matter how you vote, whether it be at a polling booth, by mail or on a computer it still can be intercepted and tampered with/ go missing if someone so wishes I'm sure. Pretty sure The Don uses postal votes, I sure do, its way too easy!!
