i think its when ref’s allowed palming the ball while dribbling.
Lol. When they decided to pay someone too much money before they were actually any good. Carrying is problem. Refs don’t know what traveling is anymore. Continuation on fouled plays have counted baskets that shouldn’t count. Defensive 3 second rule. No hand-checking. 3 shots for being fouled shooting a 3.
Yeah I'm not a fan of how the inside game is almost non-existent now. They should reverse it and make it 3 points for any shot made within the 3 point line and 2 points farther back. It now takes more skill to work the paint than shoot a 3 out in the middle of nowhere without a defender in sight.
When Larry Bird, Magic, then Michael retired. It was always about five players. I dont care anymore. Game is different. Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat
i was not a fan of the Michael Jordan running 3 step slam dunk. thats when the sport went for showmanship.
I clicked here to post literally this exact statement. 100% agree. MJ scored a ton of points early, but didn't win until he became a team player. Since, players seemed to all want to be the next Michael, but never learned this lesson. It became too much an individual sport and I lost interest. Fun, but old, joke... Call it an alley-oop to whomever wants it: Who was the only man to consistently hold Michael Jordan under 25 points per game?
Was ruined in the early 2000’s Gwen the league was tired of the small scores, so they took off tons of rules to accelerate the game, facilitate the scoring... next thing u know now teams score 125 vs 95 20 years ago. There is no defense, bunch of carrying, travel... it’s just a show and not often a good one for the most part Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
You guys don't like this behavior? https://ftw.usatoday.com/2020/08/lakers-lebron-james-mic-up-its-our-ball-nba-memes
It changed with the allowance of palming, the referees calling EVERYTHING, and you cannot even BREATHE on a guy without being called for a foul. Teams of today, if using 80's-90's rules, would have ZERO chance against the bad boy teams of Detroit, Boston, Chicago...
