I think you re forgetting the essential. The car is the best engine ever !!! Drive it as often as possible !!! We don t care about the numbers because the pleasure is beyond possession if you don t want to miss this experience. And yes, until today, it ll be numbered but it s the least important as the car is incredible ! big step vs TDF
On speed management the authorities, especially in Europe, will get a box in the car and issue speeding fines by GPS tracking. Either average or peak speed. That will be game over for all fun. Be hard for them to retro fit which will be interesting for residuals on older stock.
I think the world is very different to 2016 - both Ferrari strategy, electrification and appetite for cars. It will be easier than in the past and residuals will be weaker IMHO.
Unfortunately a big proportion of the people that buy these cars don’t drive them. And they also don’t want to lose money on them. The prospect of a 500-600k car that is worth 250-300 after 3 years has few takers, especially now. Which is why I think Ferrari will stick to the plan and make it numbered even if the coupe is 1 of 999 and the Aperta 1 of 499 which still implies 1500 copies of the VS being made. I look forward to seeing what they have done with the engine and of course I’d be very interested in getting one, limited or not Sent from my iPad using FerrariChat
Or maybe the VS coupe is 10 or 15% more than the GTS base price and its not numbered and they make over 2000 of those... they will make more money if they think they can sell all of them and convince rhe market it’s limited. Same with the GTSVS
Day355, I read everything you write with a typical Italian enthusiasm and accent and I love it ahah You made me freakingly impatient to see that car, I'm absolutely convinced it will be the "Holly Spirit" after the Father (599 GTO ) and the son (F12 Tdf) I won't order one because I can't, but who cares, I'm impatient to see our members starting to spec theirs and receiving it, and making the first reviews That what makes the Ferrarichat community so enjoyable, big owners and average joe's like me, united around the PASSION Voglio vedere la macchina VELOCAMENTE !! [+ Hand gesture]
It’s a pity these cars are made and are show pieces. Such the opposite of what the company produces them to be in reality.
I wish you get one, sincerely. It ll be epic ! It s sad that some people forget a Ferrari is made to give pleasure while driving. Future owners can afford to enjoy it and lose money... Money is useless in the coffin, since the pharaohs tried in the pyramids, it never worked !
I won't suggest you to divorce and get the Tdf you want so much because it would be rude and inappropriate, despite being probably very effective ahah
I agree with you, I wasn’t speaking about myself! I could buy a LaF with the depreciation I ve paid on regular production models over the last few years My point was that this is not the majority of the client base for the top cars in this economic environment. I do not believe that people would queue up to buy a new TDF for 600k if they thought it would drop 40pct in three years. Perhaps you disagree Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat
A tlì po dir a mè che dòp anli vag menga a c u n tèr a nisòn... A sa vdòm al bar ad banda da Toni, stètra stmèna. ciao PS I apologize for using a bit of Ferrari official language at Enzo's age (you all should have heard it in the Ford Vs. Ferrari movie when Enzo Ferrari says to Franco Gozzi: "Franchino, a gò nà fam da bòia: andòm a magnèr!" (Frankie, I'm starving: let's go eating something!)
If I tell you, I don't go to the factory anymore Well WE (all your followers) can't have that so> la presa in giro occasionale (the occasional 'tease' ) is nice of you to share instead...

Will be way more than 10-15% — 599GTO was £100k more on a £171k car. Ferrari could easily get a 30-40% premium on the 812SF and they would still have queues. Look what the TdF was selling for on the secondary market immediately after launch. Ferrari left way too much money on the table there - they won’t do that again. Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat
