Yes VR available, but a three monitor set up is probably the best for racing. There are a lot of resources via
university of you tube if you are interested in how to set up equipment and setup.

This interesting, I am in the midst of starting a racing league. In discussions right now. How do you like iRacing? My understanding is that it is very cumbersome and not organized especially well.

From the comments above, VR sex will blow your socks, can be more fun, with less hassle, you don't have to risk it all, and will not get you killed.

in iRacing one has to start from the bottom ie earn points by first proving safety( none to minimal crashes) before you can even be allowed to race. So if you dont perform well and improve, there is no way to race the big boys. it tries to mimic real life racing career development...Other platforms are less demanding.

There's probably some truth to this depending on what you're in to.

Random question...does anyone know the dimensions of the steering wheel in the F8? I know it is 2”/5cm smaller than the Pista. Any idea who manufactures it for Ferrari?

I had an hour long test drive in an F8 Tributo today with a Ferrari driving instructor for company...Its a brilliant car and better than my 488GTB in nearly all ways with one big exception..That exception was the noise it made especially on start up which was silent compared to my car..It sounded much better once you got it up to speed but still quieter than my 488.
It looks amazing in the metal especially in Rosso Scuderia on a beautiful sunny day..Biggest improvement for me was the steering which with its smaller radius and thinner rim offered more feel and easier to drive fast..It was very confidence inspiring to drive and easier to drive fast in most respects..The Lexan rear engine cover with its open slats distorted vision although did a good job of getting hot air out of the engine bay..
Will probably buy an F8 one day but right now very happy with my 488..

Agree with most of your comments except the sound on start up which is quite voluminous and roaring in nature. It however, quiets within a few seconds until the driving begins.

The tech has gotten better as well. I actually could program my homelink. I've had like 10 Ferrari's and I don't think I ever had any of them work properly until now. Its amazing how comfortable the ride is but you still have the pista power.
