    Hi,

Does anyone know if the OEM stripe is a laminated sticker, or if it needs a lacquer coat on top once installed.

Getting conflicting info, hence need to clarify.

    Thanks

I believe the OEM challenge stradale stripe was painted, not a sticker.

Nope, it’s a sticker under the clear coat.

I have an set of OEM CS strips. so the sticker is not laminated.....you will need to clear coat on top if you want it to last.
Mine is for sale if you need.

For the cost of the vinyl...even if they fade after 5-6 years, just redo them IMO.

Easier to return to stock by just peeling them off versus having to wet sand the clear down to remove, then wet sand the whole car again.
