I am working on specing out my new 812 GTS and cant decide whether to use rosso Marinello or rosso fuoco. Anyone have any side-by-side comparisons or input as to the differences in the colors. Any pics you have would really help. Thanks

    Huge difference in my opinion.
Fuoco has extensive orange burnt orange tones
Maranello is a robust deep red

I believe I am the best person to answer this, as I have both. Rosso Maranello on an 812, Rosso Fuoco on the Pista. Overall they are similar in the sun, but different in the way the light dances off of the surface.

Rosso Maranello: A triple layer mica paint that is more pearlescent in the sun, and not terribly interesting in the shadows. It is a pure red with tremendous character in the light. Probably my favorite overall color.

Rosso Fuoco: Triple layer metallic with copper/orange undertones. Definitely more aggressive, hence why I specced it on the Pista. Looks incredible in the light as well, but still showy in the shadows.

For an 812 body, Maranello is the no-brainer to me, and well worth the extra money. It was better than I ever expected it to be.

I will have to agree with you guys now that I have seen Maranello and fuoco both. I think Im going to go with the Maranello unless I get a chance to see Rosso magma. BTW this is for my 812 GTS that I just placed on order.

It’s how it looks. No manipulation. One of the best captures of the actual color IMHO.

I was just worried that it looked a little dark In some of the previous pictures I've seen but that is phenomenal!

Once you see the sun hit it at the right angle, you'll be amazed. I love how 15 degrees off the same angle looks dull and then BAM!

Marenello IMHO if you must have a red 812. Red makes an 812 feel like a really big car. If you do go that way, splash out for the painted shields. They scale much better on the 812 and make the car feel really special.

I think you are 100% correct. I also have a red 812 and just put my Rosso Maranello GTS on order!

What was the up charge for the Rosso Maranello? I was quoted 32k for it on a F8.

I was actually only quoted $12,487 I don't understand why the big difference between the 812 and the f8.

12k is not correct. It is a triple layer, and those are 27k. 32k is for the four layer paints. Whatever you are quoted doesn’t matter. It’s what comes on your sticker and typically the paint is in the additional option bundle price.

I hope so too as that is a great price! Good luck. I’m still trying to figure out which of the handfuls of dark reds we like. We currently have our order with Rosso California but I’m starting to think it may be too rust colored. Meaning too much orange but I don’t want to add another 17k to this build for Maranello.
