Yeah, I'm a blue guy as well, have a f8 spider ordered in blu corsa, but definitely liking the gray, may put on a set of darker wheels.

Fantastic coloration, nice to see a car not red. I am specking my car in a few weeks, I too will not be going red, except for the interior :)

I agree 100%, ours makes a lot of noise on startup. A bit unnecessary actually. At least as much as our 488 and not much different to our Pista. Could be a little quieter in use, not sure. If it is, not by much. A lot of discussion about GPFs on 812 threads but I have a coupe and a GTS and the GTS (with GPF) sounds absolutely wonderful and quite different. Same is true of GT3RS 18 v 19 MY - the GPF equipped car sounds different but not materially worse. GPF should in theory make sound worse but the best manufacturers seem to be able to tune very decent sound from these systems. Turbo v non turbo makes a much bigger difference. In use an F8 v 488, sound is not a reason not to like the F8 IMV. F8 v 458 could be a different story.

The 488 GTB's are disappearing here , Our dealer in our state has zero. Nationally it the lowest ever 14 cars and 10 are 2016 models. Dealer told me delta is going down and 2 years left on the F8. Im on the list of available car for sale at right price.

Here in the UK 488s are selling like hot cakes unless it's a dodgy colour combo/spec which are unsaleable unless very cheap. On the test drive i had, overall i rated the F8 extremely highly and probably the best car i've ever driven..The noise although not perfect i could live with in contrast to a Lambo which is too loud for my tastes..Not 100% convinced on the star forged wheels although they look better in painted Grigio or Diamond cut..I much prefer the classy simple five spoke standard cast ones in appearance, however i prefer the lower weight on the forged ones..
If buying a new one and i had to pay for all the options i'd have one in Rosso Scuderia, standard wheels with Alcantara race seats and all the Carbon fibre inside..Rear camera,Apple Carplay and JBL would be on the list but reluctantly...
Its an amazing car but i'd like a second extended test drive to get a better feel for the noise..Even so the best Supercar you can buy today and by quite a large margin..Really pleasantly surprised how good it looked in Rosso Scuderia as it wasn't a colour i'd have considered before seeing it in the metal.
Does anyone know how much lighter the star forged wheels are compared to the stunning standard ones..?

I like Standard wheels also because the 5 spoke is a classic design that looks great, LaFerrari, I also like aluminium calipers , none of the yellow red for me

    From another thread:
These are the weights I've been quoted.

Stock 488 and F8 cast wheelset. 104 lbs. 25 lbs front, 27 lbs rear.

Forged 488 wheelset. 96 lbs. 23 lbs front, 25 lbs rear.

Forged Pista wheelset. 83 lbs. 19.5 lbs fronts, 22 lbs rear.

Forged Pista Spider wheelset 79 lbs. 18.5 front, 21 lbs rear.

    Pista/F8 CF wheelset 72 lbs.

Approximate weights, I ordered my car with the standard silver wheels, and picked up a set of matte Grigio corsa Pista wheels for a different look and light track duty with MPSC 2s.

Needs the Cup 2 tires for extra grip in 2nd gear. 0-60 in 2.6 seconds is realistic.

I've gotten 2.8 seconds to 60 in my M5C but that's AWD and definitely didn't spin, so this is moving. Acceleration runs with RWD are tough. If the the temps are hot enough to heat up the tires, it will hurt (sometimes significantly) top end acceleration. 60-130 can vary by over half a second in 90 degree vs 70 degree weather.

If that's true, not very much difference in weight between the Pista Spider forged wheels and the Carbons?

  13. Well, 7 pounds of unsprung weight is nothing to sneeze at.

Did you guys noticed this? The F8 has no headlight washers! Less weight and complications than Pista!
    Great detail (like the 720s)
Bellow the washers in the pista:

Awesome. Those 4 oz in weigh savings are really going to come in handy as I back out of my driveway, drive 35mph to the gym and back. :)

  16. Don't forget you can now maneuver through the Starbuck drive-thru that much quicker.

    Less weight = better handling.

That 4 ounces is like deleting a door handle for a strap.

Some clear bra have coatings built in like Stek. Normally just to have a car coated, you can have it done for 500-2000 since the car is already clear bra'd, they can't correct the paint under it...

Don’t make fun guys, all those tubes and pumps are things that can break. The F8 won’t have to deal with that and with sticky buttons...

Because they are LED's now. Law doesn't need the wash. Notice also how much better the sensors blend in the bumper also

the sticky button delete on F8 might be the biggest improvement in recent Ferrari history, now imagine if they get the battery draining issue sorted as well!
