I admire specs that take a chance. These cars are usually unique and one of a kind. In person they often look better than the pic. I usually spec very “middle of the road” but am trying to be more adventurous lately. My TM GTS will show that. Maybe too much as well, but sometimes playing it safe can be a little boring. The TM process in itself can push you to the edge. The people you work with are definitely leaning more to the artistic and creative side- which I again, I find more exciting than a negative. I love the car and the risk taken. Vive la difference!

There is a difference between taking a chance with your spec and being colorblind. :)

    That is hilarious!

Some people just don’t understand what colors go with what.

I say go bold and you could actually retain a great resale due to rarity. I say spec the car the way you want and take the risk if you are in for the long haul. But as others point out, there is a consequence when sale time comes if the spec Is too “adventurous”.

With so many choices which paint did you choose and anything unusual for the seat material? Thanks!

I agree there are naturally things that look better together but you can’t really get away from yellow on a Ferrari given the logos, etc. once you start down that path it builds on itself(once you see my GTS you will see why I say that and am defensive :)).
I don’t think blue and yellow look that bad together and once you have the yellow on the car the stripe in the seat is a natural progression. I’m sure this was suggested by the designers at TM. Besides, if we were all the same how boring life would be!

I used azzuro Dino metallizato. Basically a modern metallic version of the classic Dino blue. They really pushed for the stripe given all the real estate between the haunches (two yellow with black in the middle). Once that happens that look repeated itself inside.
On the seat I also inserted their new super fabric for the inserts on the CF racing seats. I used super fabric as well for the matts and carpets.
I would post a pic but their configurator couldn’t quite do the blue so it’s going to be a bit of a surprise when it arrives.

Thank you for sharing those tailor made images! Beautiful with the stripe look to. The metallic colors have lots of character as they change with the light. The result inside and out with that build spec will be spectacular. The 812 GTS as a platform for these ideas is the perfect place to start...

I don’t think the colors are bold.

I think you have to be bold to choose a car in these colors.

A bold color would be Gold.

A buddy of mine wrapped his Lambo in golf. We nicknamed him Dubai Gold. :)

Reminds me of my college days when I drove a Gran Torino similar to that color. Looks like European plates and they tend to go for off-script colors.

I find that very nice. Not exactly gold, but I see what you mean. I find the Ferrari color range lacking in shades around brown, bronze, etc.
