After turn 1 - it will be a a mid field follies race. Tire management and procession with not alot of passing???? Engine mode limits mean you need to be very close on final turn and down the main straight to hope to pass???

Spot on. I think passing may be rare, but it will be entertaining to watch the drivers so close. Also, it'll be interesting to watch tire wear and the resultant pit stops.

Honestly I suffer for Verstappen because knowing that he is the best and weekend after weekend being forced to settle for third place ..

Bottas was denied by Ocon not LH. We will not know if LH was the fastest. Bottas may have been the actual pole sitter

He's taking a 'dig' at Cheat Point but he is correct. I posted it in another thread.

At this point Vettel is just an embarrassment to Ferrari. Yes Charles is definitely the faster driver, but being half a second slower every qualification is just not a good look for the German granpa.

Actually debatable whether Perez is better. Right now yes, by a hair. But he has been at this now for 10 years. Lance is young, up and coming. And Lance is way ahead in the points of Perez.

    Not so clear cut IMHO.

Yup, he is done. Stick a fork in him.

I don't understand why RP sacked Perez for Vettel. What will Vettel bring they don't already have? Other than the prestige/aura of a 4 times WDC. Past his prime by about 3 years.

Lance has no job otherwise. Other teams would have released him already. Family wealth is the ONLY reason he is on the team or in F1. Not the first or the last to buy a seat when others have more talent but no access/money. Sergio's performance over Lance is the norm today. New parts, slower, old parts, slower overall.

The release of Sergio is the final insult wealth brings to the table. Szafnauer cannot actually believe the trash that comes out of his mouth about this situation.

Sky italy said that lance was a top cart driver, so he has some talent. Money helps, and dad owning the team helps even more.
