I slept quite well last night lol. The real tell of all this was when Lance faced Nico when Sergio was out. 'Team expected more' was used more than once. He failed to lead the team or make a real impact. If anything Nico showed what was missing with Sergio being gone.
Depends on Tracing Point's burn rate. This track should favor the late brakers, drivers with spatial awareness and real racecraft. I expect Max, Danny Ric, Charles and Kimi to shine--I hope!
Fastest driver without a doubt today was charles...he's the real pole man....it's an embarsssment for the copy points yo be behind him...
No matter how bad the Ferrari is, he has been fired. In my opinion he knows he taking a step down in all areas - Reputation, team and pay. He has been demoted in all areas. His story will be interesting only in so far as he makes it back up a touch. Id rather be in Ferrari in a slower car with 4 titles than a marginally faster one in a team that favors a less than major talented son over a driver consistently defeating the less talented heir. Poor Seb. I think Sergio was treated worse actually.
In the last 23 Qualifications Charles leads Seb 18 - 5 in the head to head, with an average gap around 3 tenths in Charles' favor. If there ever was any excuses for the German, there should be none anymore. Leclerc is simply the better and faster driver.
Luck had no part in him at least making into Q3. Seb showing once again his fragile and petulant nature; same performance pattern as when he was about to depart Red Bull after being obliterated by Ricciardo ie downhill.
yep, and I believe going forward at Portimao they will let 45,000 fans to see the race.....yes, 45,000.

The F cars looked great! Then they went on track and looked **** again. Should have kept them in the garage.
Standard Merc result. Boring. Amazing Charles result! Outperformed the cars potential magnificently. Gasly - hero to zero. Russell - just brilliant yet again. He’s now 30-0 in qualifying having never been beaten by a teammate. That’s some score. The race tomorrow will be a procession until the safety car comes out. Which it will. The high speed corners around this track are mega g and someone is bound to have an off. Overtaking is more or less impossible as the run into the start finish straight is a massive high speed turn which will mean aero disruption and no one can closely follow the car in front sufficiently to get passed. This one is all about lap 1 turn 1, safety cars and undercuts....
Yeah, but I think that in normal conditions Leclerc would be around 8th. About Vettel, no comment, as usual. After watching F2, it seems that this one can be a chaotic race.
Gasly wasn’t a hero last weekend, he’s not a zero this Saturday either What’s the need for such an excess? Russell is impressive, can't wait to see him in a proper car
