The exhaust headers are now Off the car and have been readjusted to fit properly and sent off to be white ceramic coated (period correct colour).

The major service items as well as new pedal rubbers, fuel hose etc have arrived and are ready to be installed.

I had the correct Koni classic stickers made up and the foam in the toolkit will be installed. Trying to find the correct foam!

Forgot to mention that the carpets have been removed and the correct ones will be made up and fitted to the car.

Waiting for the press machine to arrive to the trimmers shop so that he can replicate the exact rubber pattern on the floor mats.

That is a good looking, very clean car you have there.

I have managed to stay clear of the concours bug but I can see you have every reason to go the extra mile.

    Good luck!

First thing you have to do is move the steering wheel to the correct side. ;-). No flames it just a little poke, maybe.

Plater did an amazing job of not killing the detail. Paul always jokes about the horse looking like a plow mule after some platters are finished.

If my car looked like that it would be hard to drive it without worry, nah, just kidding it's still just a car to be enjoyed. Is that Onnos old 365?

Not picking, just providing input because of your goal.

With very limited close up pictures the spinners are wrong for a boxer, those are replacement ones. P-clips for park brake cables are wrong, hardware finish on calipers is incorrect, ball joints are not the correct finish, suspension details are not right color-wise, core plugs in cam covers should be wrinkle finish not plated. Belly pan is wrong in many ways. Wrong tool kit and filler neck drain hoses are incorrect.

If you want more input post more pics, I would be happy to critique.

A lot of these items have been attended to. I haven’t taken photographs of the recent work which includes the correct finishes, headers, ball joints, hoses and many other items.

Appreciate the through feedback, it’s great that you’ve spotted out a few items.

Specific to the wheel nuts, either winged or octogonal, could they be manufactured with original specifications (raised horse, raised arrow)?

Yes they can but not cost effective to recreate the entire spinner.

The spinners should have the raised 3D horse not the engraved one. If it had octagon nuts such as a car destined to France it would have the same raised 3D horse minus the 3 ears.
