How is that fat pig of a Porsche with less hp and 1700+ kilos supposed to compete with the Ferrari? They F8 destroyed it.

    Wow.... who would have thought??

Turbo S gets the better start

F8 reals it in and dumps it for dead

Only Nostradamus would have picked that.

May the Horse be with you

I don't think the driver knew (or knows) how to launch.

I think its more driver error than car performance, or lack thereof.

Hurracan is same way... beats the F8 off the line and 1/2 down the 1/4 mile as the F8 reals it in and just passes it before the 1/4 comes up

Ya, the times were bad for both. 992 Turbo S is a 10.5s car, not 11.1s.

If I am not mistaken (correct me if I am wrong) but you do/can get the camera system in the US. I was offered it when I built my car. I don't mind much the nose front camera since it is pretty well hidden (however I still don't like it). What I really didn't like is the side mirror sensors... That is a huge eye sore.

Unless you are only referring to F8 being faster than 720S. It was sort of a rhetorical question... I know F8 isn't. But the 911 TS did beat the 720s.

There were other videos showing similar races and it turned out that the drivers of the 911 TS didn't know how to launch the car appropriately. When they did, the results was completely different. Porsche probably has the best launch right now in the market.

    Wait, I wasn't expecting this.

However, as it has been stated before, I find him a little unreliable with his reviews and drag races. I find him doing early starts and the opponents invariably late starts making him win every single time.

    Need more evidence...

I saw that video and was impressed by the Porsche speed in that. But then it doesn't make sense that the F8 would walk the Porsche when the Porsche beat the 720. At best 720 and F8 are similar in power, and I would argue the 720 would beat the F8. Even still, not trying to create a pissing match between F8 and 720 but the two videos don't make sense.

Porsche cannot destroy the 720 and then get destroyed by the F8. I would expect similar results between Porsche and F8/720.
