    Drove the F8 Spider today ... it's bad ass. My faith in the retail brand is reaffirmed, even as the F1 has tanked for the next couple years

    Planted and comfy and tight and responsive and pretty ... no need to look at a Pista. I didn't mind the tone, could be MORE with a Cap exhaust if needed.

    It's faster than anyone can use on any roads, would love to track it, and the turbo was hard to feel. I hate turbos. Compared to a 911 it's miles ahead on handling. Wheelbase and width and just better.

    In this day and age do parking sensors really still have to look like warts? Can they not blend them in better?

    So true, I omitted the parking sensors on my build. You still get the rear sensors since they are mandatory in the US. Don’t dare get the surround camera, it’s worse than anything else I’ve seen.

    The only other thing I could do without is the damn door lock cylinder on the drivers door.

    Surprised they don't offer that painted in body colour as an (over-priced) option. Surely that would be easy money for Ferrari as just about everyone would tick that box.

    You seen the ones on a PISTA ? they look like pimples . At least on the F8 they are flush. Never understood why the Pista has them that way. Plain ugly

    I thought maybe a frog was clinging on to the underside of the mirror. Its like after the front parking sensors on the Pista someone in the design team - probably the dude who designed the sf90 - thought he'd up the ante by going big on the mirror cameras. Probably thought it was a great look too. Pretty sure you could buy some mirror cameras from Autobarn or Supercheap Autos that are much less discreet and for a fraction of the cost.

    I have the surround view on my 812 GTS and it is brilliant. You don’t buy a Ferrari for driver aids but in honesty, they are really useful. Especially the surround view, it works amazingly well, better than any other system I’ve used. I also have front cameras on our Pista Spider and I’m glad. Lots of expensive things to hit on the front of that car and not a single person who has seen the car has said “what are those doing there?” You just don’t really see them other than when looking at internet photos. The GTS side mirrors don’t seem too intrusive with the camera on either.

    An alternative view at least.
