With these EAG conversions, will our local independent shops have a hard time repairing the transmission when needed? OR are they basically doing what the factory would've done and thus any independent Ferrari garage would know how to repair these?

as my first post here (lurking to learn a *LOT* before jumping into ownership) i can't silently look and not say hot diggity.

i take it they finally got all the kinks sorted out? admittedly i just knew what was written by the journalists when it was originally announced and made the rounds for test drives/proof of life, but they were very up front about still having a ways to go before it was fully ready to go.

    absolutely incredible sir. :)

Yes the conversions are straight forward and doable by any competent tech.

nope, the kits are very straightforward to install.
im liking the tubi headers more these days as they come with the shields...decisions.

I believe Capristo offers their headers in a package with the blankets too, FWIW.

haha thanks breh...been itching to buy a scud for the past cple years and never quite got there...serendipitously i found this one! stopping in at Mase for some ECU love and then will probably do an exhaust and silver wheels. maybe wrap in in a historic ferrari livery from the 60s, thoughts?

I've had a good experience with Capristo headers. Don't think you can go wrong with the Tubi although Capristo claims more hp in the midrange. I think you'll be happy with both. No on tubi muffler.

What kind of cats you thinking? 100 cell or 200 cell?

200 cell...my regular 430 with 200 cell capristo and capristo headers (stock muffler) is already borderline too loud

Add one thing at a time and see how you like it. Personally, If you're going with Tubi headers, I'd just stick with the stock headers for now. Only reason to change them out is to preserve the originals, which can be $10-15k to replace. I'd take my chances. I don't think they're as problematic as F430 headers. If there's no issue now, you're probably good.

Let's talk muffler :). It's X-pipe configuration or stock man. Kriessieg, Powercraft, S-Line, or Kline. Everything else is just a louder version of the stock muffler. That's what straight pipes and race cats are for :). Stock isn't bad really. Especially if you're changing out cats. I'd enjoy it as is for now.
