    Hello All,

I am new to this forum and very new to Ferrari ownership. I have just purchased a 2013 Ferrari FF (my second Ferrari). I just purchased the car a 5 days. I took my car out to drive today it since the weather had gotten better, its been raining for the past 4 days, i noticed that the car had a puddle of liquid near the rear tires. I drove it for about 30 miles and an error light came on the dash. At first i thought it was a trunk light but after looking in to the manual i found out its actually the transmission error light. The car has also started jerking a bit when i am at a light and start moving in first gear. Has anyone experienced this and does anyone have any recommendations ? I'm a bit frustrated as i have only driven the car for about 200 miles since purchase.

Got the same issue, Do you by any chance have an error stating " Operation not admissible"? If so then you must have a speed sensor error paired with the DCT leak.

Disconnect the neg battery cable for 5 min then reconnect. These Ferraris are fickle

Do not disconnect the negative battery cable!!! This will cause any faults that were stored in the transmission ECU during the failure to be erased. Considering that you are having fluid loss and not smooth takeoff from a stop, I would stop driving the car and have it towed to your Ferrari repair facility to diagnose the cause of the problem. Further driving of the car may result in a much more expensive repair.

Sorry, Akhil, it worked for me, but listen too the pro's. Take it down to Ferrari like he said. Take these forum blogs as tentative advice, not definitive advice!

If the error message says something like AWD failure, Low Transmission pressure...check the oil reservoir at the from Left of the car--just behind the headlight. It is the PTU oil reservoir. FF/Lusso cars have a PTU problem. If that is the problem, its an expensive fix...there is a company in NJ that will do a rebuild--GTE Engineering. GLTY
