That's a really canny move Greg. When I sell the AM early next year, Shannons will be my preferred method of sale. No dickhead tyre kickers and low ballers. They often get near the top of market prices. Very few bargains on Shannons in my experience.
Out of luck if you think Jerry Seinfeld will be putting his hand up! Did i ever tell you how many Porkers I've owned?
Lost count how many auction houses have gone broke ,holding venders money after they have let go to the purchaser the item ....oh well
Is the full vehicle report going to say : “fully restored by a guy in his garage at home, who had never done anything like this before, and had to use you tube videos for guidance” Looks great though, should get a good price. Timing is good. Lots of people in that potential market are cashed up, and not much else to spend money on.
I bought it because I wanted a car I could develop mechanical skills on, I pretty much worked on all its components and am very happy with how it turned out. I’m sure the next owner will be too. Basically ran out of things I could work on with it, so after 2 years it’s time to move it on. I think it’s a good time to sell and I’ll look for another project next year [emoji3]
“Meticulous restoration by a true enthusiast using only genuine Porsche parts with no expense spared. Not a Chinese tyre or half arsed effort in sight” [emoji6]
Did you say Chump? My sister (house with the tower ) has five Porkers ranging from her 968 cab to her 997 series 11 Turbo cab....sorry no interest in the 928 .
