What would you like to know ? The Drever family were old Footscray family money ...the various males made a fortune from Tripe , jam factories and hotels . They owned many new Rolls-Royce cars including a new Silver Wraith in the 50s . Heavy into horse racing and disliked BTC like yourself

I was just thinking the same thing Explains a lot of the strange looking people down there Did I tell you the mayor of Prahran was a doctor in the 1920s and delivered my father to the second woman from the left ? Well it might have happened .... prove me wrong
I laughed until I fell on the floor !!!!!!!! It really is the Gerry Springer show !! Did you know Rob use to do business with Roland, PP's dad ? True story ...... please go on
Yes I did ,he was one of our major investors (argue over $5) but hey that was OK.. Prahran radio? A friend of his did too a Mr Breit ....most of those investors sadly from the 90s are long gone to God. They were old guys long retired ,who just loved to still be doing deals ,getting the business mind working .. Many of them were interesting not only to do business with but ,they enjoyed telling you of their lives ,how they came to Australia after WW2 ,their business ect That GEN born pre-war ll knew how to make money ,I have one old client that lives in Armadale Melbourne , we still when we catch up have a whisky and I can listen to him for hours about his business history . I asked him one night ,with all his money why he drinks Johnnie Walked RED....his reply was " went to Broken hill as a young man to work in the mines ,arrived on a cold wet night and the local Catholic minister gave him a glass of JW RED"
A sight that probably won't be repeated often - two PC24s at Tennant Creek last night. And, after spending the night at the Tennant Creek caravan park last night (lovely people and very helpful), I can report that I'm happy to be home. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Must have been much better than Delhi...When we landed within 5 minutes they had ransacked our food in the Galley as we were cargo only on a pax 777...What a shidt hole....
Bloody Hell! How are you finding the flying? Is it good to at least be doing some? Now, for 5 BTC points, can anyone work out (by looking at the photo) why I spent last night in Tennant Creek?
Yep,one of you,the shorter on the left..possibly female, weren't wearing a Hiviz jacket and the powers that be grounded your aircraft until the RFDS flew up another jacket....
In a way, you’re all right. But in another, more accurate way, Gary is right. Spoilers didn’t retract after landing. Had to fly up a computer from Adelaide today to reset the system. I guess that’s the downside of a massively computerised aircraft. But another adventure in the logbook for me. Bloody good breakfast at the Top of Town Cafe this morning, too.
Foik computers...all you need is a clutch............................oh FFS who the foik am I talking to......
