I guess... the problem is that as soon as 8/2021 hits, your advantage dissipates. Didn't mean to burst your bubble! My car will essentially get here on 2021. So no advantage for me.
Oh... And don't pretend like you wouldn't be happy either way!!! It is a win-win situation. Once the toy arrives, everything else doesn't matter.
nice car Buddy the F8 is a great car congratulations and Ferrari has done a great job with the Turbocharged V8s .. enjoy.....
It’s only been 2 days and it feels like forever! Waiting on the call she is ready to be picked up! Hoping to take it to a Cars and Coffee event next Saturday that I host.
Very cool… My 2007 F430 spider was owned by Mr. Cauley..., the owner of the dealership. I just bought it last year. It was/ is amazing condition as you can imagine. Congrats !! Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat
Very cool! Pics? I met him at a private event to drive the F8. Have you been to the new dealership? UNREAL!
So weekend has arrived. What's the update? Not picked up yet or picked up but haven't had the time to share yet? Sent from my BLA-A09 using FerrariChat.com mobile app
I have not… I live in South Florida and purchased my car through an independent dealer down here. I had a thorough PPI before purchasing it and it was perfect. When all the books were shipped to me a few weeks later, all of the service records were in his personal name. It was pretty darn cool. Thanks!...my first ferrari (at 54), so i am just enjoying the whole experience and appreciating the car. I have had other fun sports cars in the past (porsche, AMG, etc.), but this is the first and only one that I have ever driven, and I just love it. Hard to imagine what a 458 or 488 would feel like...maybe someday. I really like the potential upgrade to the 458 Spider (I need a convertible here in FL), but afraid I would terribly miss (i) the sound of th 430, and (ii) that super large glass rear window.... Anyway, YOUR car is the true gorgeous one...enjoy and post more pics when you get it.
Guess my prayers weren't as powerful as I thought. Well, you are a lot closer than I will ever be. I hope it happens on Tuesday for real. Sometimes I wonder what happens during these PDIs. I know that cars sometimes come with dings and scratches and they repair them. I just wonder what sort of damage and extent is being hidden and not disclosed; therefore, taking longer that anticipated.
Thanks much... Hard to contemplate selling it when I know any upgrade would be at least $100k. Since I love this car so much, I think I would have to go 458 spider to at least preserve some sound ( and my wallet!) Anyway, can’t wait to see OPs F8!!! Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat
You can never go wrong with a 458. The car preserves it's lines very well. It is probably the least aging Ferrari I have ever seen. The interior is a little dated but Ferrari has never been known for the greatest Berlinetta interiors anyway. Unfairly so, they reserve that for their GT lines. They made the exception, for the first time with the F8. I think they did a great job with its interiors. With that said, 458 have been maintaining their value and even slowly creeping up in their value. I predict they will be more expensive as time goes. So if thinking about getting one, do it soon. They are already catching up to the current 488 prices.
All great points… My main issue is I just acquired the 430 last year. Put 3000 joyful miles on it, and it still put smiles on my face. Probably one of the best values out there for 110,000. I wish I had an extra garage I would keep it and also buy a 458 right now, because I completely agree with you Price is definitely seem like they are creeping up Covid be damned Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat
Few more pics from the dealer delivery should be this Thursday or Friday. No idea why it takes 7 work days to do dealer prep and film. They aren’t even doing the whole car.
