Hi I acquired a damaged 2017 488 challenge car and I would to repair the front end , any suggestions on where to find used challenge parts ? It seems everything is challenge pacific , also need a left door and steering wheel , is it possible to put one of the challange cars on the street ? Can they be registered ? I have a california title Any advice would helpful..thanks in advance Best regards matt
I could be mistaken, but I believe I asked one of the Ferrari dealers about this and their response was that the Challenge cars do not have registrable VIN#'s as far as road use. I could be mistaken, but I seem to remember this being the response. I was looking at a 360 Challenge car at the time and commented that it would be fun to drive it on the street. BTW, there's a funny video on YouTube where someone does drive a full race car on the street. Let me see if I can find it. Yeah, here it is: Keep in mind that Doug DeMuro is sort of a tool. I personally wouldn't put too much stock in what he does or doesn't say about cars, but it is sort of interesting to see his experience none the less. Ray
