    While wintered in, I'm still managing to have some fun with the Ferrari. Fixed broken fiberglass under the front, (should buy the skid plates now!), cleaned the aluminum belly pan, stripped the front inner wheel wells and recoated with Wurth's Stoneguard, and did the rears too, anong with a general clean up. Tackling the frame rail also before I put it back on the ground.

    Here's a shot showing the rear, and detail of the Stoneguard texture inside the front fender.

    Darn, Looks nice! How good is this StoneGuard stuff? Is it also good for undercoating/rustproofing too?

    The stuff is discussed in high regards on Porsche forums that I found thru Google. It is OEM undercoating on many European cars. Can be painted over too. Made in Germany. Link below is where I bought mine, also come in cans for gun use. They sell a special gun for big jobs.

    Read the application info in the link, it is for rustproofing.

    I meant to include a "before" picture showing why I did this. I had typical road debri in the wheel wells, but also lots of primer overspray, a pet peeve of mine. Here is the shot:

    P.S., I'm not driving around on those tires, you can see the date code as as 2nd week of _5. Three other tires are dated _7, so I think 4 of 5 might be original tires.

    Are the brake calipers just flat metal or a grayish painted colored? Looking to clean up and restore the wheel wells and not sure if its bare metal or a silver/gray painted caliper.

    Are your shrouds inside the wheel well "factory"? My car doesnt have them, and I don't recall seeing any images of suspension with the shroud coverings...

    I tour the whole suspension out… should i just clean the control arms up, paint them or powder-coat them?

    Send the arms to strip and powder coat. Should all cost less than $200 and will look great
