Question for those that have driven the Roma? I took one for a test drive and think it the finest car I have ever driven. I currently own a 2014 Carrera S. But the price point of getting to a Roma is difficult for me, $ 230K +. I'm thinking to make the move to Ferrari, I may have to start with something like a 2015 / 16 California T, which are trading around the $ 130 to $ 140K range. The driving experience on the Roma was spectacular, but I've not driven a Cali T. For those who have been in both what are the things I would notice to be significantly different in the driving of the car (looks/design aspects/ dash electronics not important). Thanks much - Duane
If I were looking for a Roma in a flat color I’d suggest bianco avus and a slit Nero/burgundy or Nero/ beige. Chiaro stitching on headrest for the burgundy and black stitching on the beige. Both would be quite stunning. For a metal paint, Grigio titanio which was my backup selection... Good luck on your selection! SV
Are you familiar with kirbys photos (itzkirby.com). He’s done a bunch of FOG events and has a thread here on Fchat. Anyway, if we both get cars close to each other are you interested in having him photo shoot our cars together?? I imagine it would interest him... SV
I ordered the same interior and with the yellow seatbelts. Exterior i went with Rosso portofino with the shields Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat.com mobile app
I’ve had a Cali before and if you get one make sure you get one with the magneride option. I found the Cali usable everyday and the Roma is meant to be even more usable. I think the key difference having driven both is that the Roma just feels more sportier when you want it to be and more refined when you want it to be. Just received my first production photo. This is a different view than my previous cars. I did not get the body in primer photo this time. The lines do look good, I must say! Image Unavailable, Please Login Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Nero interior with yellow details like the launch car. I had a Grigio Titanio 488 Spider and loved the color and seeing it with the black/yellow details really spoke to me. Classic and Sporty. Trying something new with my Ferrari experience and using this as a daily so didn’t feel I could drive a red Ferrari to my job. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Screw it, that’s exactly what I’m going to drive to work. A Rosso Corsa, with yellow callipers, with Nero and yellow contrasting interior.
We probably won’t see any movement on allocations until December correct? They do allocations at the beginning of quarter?
