    Actually appropriate...

Aston's are for driving to the yacht club,... not to the track. Stroll is exactly best image for the car... a Rich Playboy... not a racer.

Street cars are for the road, F1 for the track.

Nothing wrong being a rich playboy.

Right. Over the course of F1 history, there have been no shortage of rich playboys. I wouldn't mind being one myself!

Stroll actually has done pretty well.

Yas 2020 Clone cheat keeps slower losing driver and loses faster savior of team. Sounds correct for ego centric team and owner. Another poor decision lol

Ego-centric? Maybe, but my opinion is Lawrence Stroll is a highly motivated owner that isn't afraid to achieve his (or maybe his son's) goals and isn't afraid to utilize a vast amount of his resources to achieve those goals. No doubt that people like that have big egos, but we all have egos, right?

    F1 needs more Lawrence Strolls.

Now that the oil money has dried out, and that tobacco advertising is banned, aren't we lucky that rich entrepreneurs invest some of their hard-earned cash to support F1?

    Frankly, what's the alternative?

I wish Amazon, Apple, Microsoft, and a few others could join !

OK. Poison?? Why? Where would the former Force India be without Mr. Stroll?

Because they're little more than bullies...they way they both threatned the other teams when they protested their copies was just trash....glad Ferrari told them to go **** themselves...

Bullying, or simply defending their investment? It's F1. It's very competitive.

Their are numerous threads regarding the alleged copying of the Mercedes.

So again, where would Force India be without the Strolls?

The question is where would Stroll be without Perez saving the team, then Stroll being allowed to buy it after another offer was supposedly in front of his. Stroll is no saint and F1 would be just fine without him. He has a team because of Perez.

You are pushing the savior argument. Perez sued Farce India so they went into receivership and Stroll could take it over. Without Perez they would have ended bankrupt and be sold as well. Only difference is that this way the process was faster and people didn't loose their jobs temporary.

Long standing tradition of playboys indeed. If nothing else they add panache to the grid.

??? are you ok? You spoke of force india... You’re obviously grasping at straws trying to defend them, hard isn’t it? As if F1 wasn’t already on its knees, the Strolls are kicking it in the xxlls. Guess they’ll buy it all stock and barrel at a discount soon. Administrator needs new shoes...

While I don't endorse the "clone" car, I am glad they stepped up and saved the team. This also means that Lance has a "natural" home for his . . . uhmmmm . . . talents. I don't see any straws to grasp. Everything I mention is fact.

    Have a nice day.:)

Well I showed you the team would have been fine and likely better off anyway so really didn’t get your pretty immature reply. And regarding Lance he adds absolutely nothing. I was at least hoping he would keep crashing more often for the show but has become as bland and average as one can be. Anyone would be better filling that wasted space. You have a nice day too

Don't you think it was better for Force India to be swiftly transfered to Lawrence Stroll's consortium, rather than falling in the hands of a Russian company?
    I know which one I prefer ...

One can check how Lawrencece Stroll made his fortune, but Mazepin's backround is rather murky, to say the least.

I am not surprised the Administrator didn't bother to contact him!

A billionaire owns a team. F1 cares only if rules followed and fee's paid etc. The next consortium or corporation will not matter either. Money flows and F1 does not change. Do you know Dorilton who own Williams? Did F1 improve as they are not Russian??
