OH the plot thickens. The reason I asked was after seeing what appeared to be a smaller painted shields on a Monza SP1. Nelson thank you for adding to the tailor made knowledge here!
Not a problem at all! I actually have a photo of one of the 70th TM 488 GTB from when I was at TM a few years back and it has the smaller shields and when I asked the team about it they told me that they offer both sizes as the larger version can seem a bit too much on the 488.

That reminds me of 250GTO 3987GT at Sebring in 1963. I know there is a F12 TdF in the spec of that exact car, it looks amazing. Does anyone know if the TdF or GTO play a role in the configuration of that SP1? Luis Sent from my CLT-L29 using FerrariChat.com mobile app

Great to see some clean and simple specs Curiously, some ferrari models seems to attract a lot of weirdness in their color combos, the GTO for exemple, while others are specced in a very conservative way.
dcmetro how about that gold Ferrari with a stripe still sitting in the back on the transporter though???

I like the more clean and simple specs on the Monza myself. The lines of the design is all it needs. ❤️
Did anyone hear that Ferrari still has SP1s available? A friend who is well connected in France told me Ferrari sold all SP2 slots but not SP1??
I’d say your friend is incorrect. Ferrari didn’t allocate a certain number of SP 1 and SP 2. They allocated 499 total and customers got to pick. So to say SP 1 slots were available doesn’t make sense in that case. All 499 are sold out and whatever people picked they picked. Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat
and yet in the white SP1 pictured above the cover is exclusive to that version. Ferrari may have ordered certain parts in a greater quantity than needed. Thus some production flexibility may exist...
if someone dies then what happens.? for example this is late randy gory's monza spec. he was brutally murdered last year and if his family cancels order then what ? Image Unavailable, Please Login

There was no allocation of SP1/2 slots. Clients picked the version they wanted and it was built to order, so the final split is uncertain. If someone steps out of the order they will lose a decent amount of money as the down payment was 500k EUR, so I assume anyone who doesn’t want the car would work with their dealer to sell it to someone else and recover their money. From what I hear there are some cars being “advertised” privately, mainly by people who worry about the current economic climate, but I haven’t heard of any actual sales in Switzerland, other than that well known sale that took place a few months ago. Perhaps Mr Massini knows more. Sent from my iPad using FerrariChat
