If I must say, or add to your prognosis, Stroll did over-shoot his braking area in the pits THEREBY hitting his jackman.

Maybe he was looking at his dash (steering wheel)--->"Yup, there it is still......the energy button!"

That gave me a good laugh. He did kind of "cry" in his post race.

Ooo did he? I missed his post race interview. I’ll look it up right away and if corrections are necessary, I’ll gladly edit my original post! We can’t have fake news here...

That’s what happens when you confirm a driver early. He was driving a lot better while he had to “fight to stay in the team” lol

That’s a good point. He has no reason to try. His seat is guaranteed as long as he wants it. He knows he has zero chance of ever winning wdc, so F1 is just a source of entertainment to him. He never drives like his career depends on it because, well, it doesn’t...

I think that overall Stroll does relatively better than some drivers I could mention.

Today he had a bad day, but who hasn't from time to time? I like him.

He never drives above his level. He has only been as good as the car his father buys him, and the money his father puts into the team. Perez is ten times more worthy of that seat...compared to Stroll or Vettel.

Admittedly today was not one of Lance's finer days.

    Nope....and yet there's more!!!!

When race control gave the message that lapped cars could overtake the safetycar to unlap themselfes, Stroll went full speed passed the site of Russell's accident WHILE THERE WERE STILL MARSHALS !

What an idiot. Also bet his pits overshoot was more to do with his anger than cold brakes

On the subject of Russell's accident how is it that he is not being called useless and an idiot for hitting the wall behind the safety car? I certainly would not however this crowd likes to throw punches and I would assume if Lance had made the IDENTICAL error then the insults would be flying :D

Stroll is fine Monday through Thursday. That's nearly 60% of the time...

Trouble is Lance puts in a half decent performance now and then , he is kind of like Albon right now, lost his mojo.Although i think Albon has a lot more potential.

Don't be surprised if one ,or even both of them, comes back with a strong race in Turkey.

Not more than some drivers though. You can't judge on one or 2 races.

Most of the criticism against him is bias.

Lack of performance consistently. Same as Vettel.

But some other drivers have even lower performance than him, and don't get the scorn.

Someone like Giovinazzi, for example, has been delivering poor performances over the years and never got the same level of criticism.

What has Kvyat achieved? Do you remember Hartley? Hardly a word against them.

Stroll irritates because he is rich, as if it was a crime.

    Driver rating from PlanetF1 website:

Lance Stroll: Stroll’s poor run of form continues. He now hasn’t scored a single point since finishing on the podium at Monza, and now has 25 points fewer than team-mate Perez.

To make matters worse, he also carried way too much speed into the pit-box in his final stop and send a mechanic flying, which is never good. Many feel he doesn’t deserve a seat in F1 at all, let alone ahead of Perez, and he’s doing little to prove them wrong. 5
