I recently received the final picture of my F8. I just realized that the car has a protective film that seems to have been partially removed and left on the hood of the car. Upon closer review, if you zoom in, you will see some writings on front panel where it meets the nose as well as the front and rear aspect of rear quarter panel, where it meets the door and the rear spoiler.

Does anyone have an idea what that may mean?

I had the same on my F8. Whilst I cannot be 100% sure putting mine into a translator indicated that they were either areas that required refinishing or instructions for later down the line!

i thought the same. I really couldn't make out what it said, but I an certainly make sense that they are words. I believe the one on the front aspect of rear quarter panel by the door said something like guarniz and has an arrow pointing towards the door . Guarniz isn't a word but it may be an abbreviation for guarnizione, which means gasket or trimming. The one on the front and rear of the car, I can't see what they say but they also have some lines or arrows.

Regardless, I hope they are instructions or reminders to check or replace trimmings, etc and not imperfections on the body or paint. .

Bianco Italia looks amazing. I have Bianco Avus but this looks much nicer.

That is what a metallic triple layer paint will get you. A glossy pearl appearance, richer, denser, lively with different layers and shades depending on lighting and more depths in color(s), along with a 32k dollars sticker.

I said the same thing. That was until I saw Fuji in person. I haven't had the privilege to see Bianco Italia on a car yet, only in pictures of cars. I saw the samples plates on the dealership and quite honestly it is hard to visualize how a car will look with any paint, based on a plate. You just have to love the color. Even though I initially selected Bianco Italia. It was hard to choose between it and Fuji, I always gravitated towards Bianco Italia, but Fuji is so famous and always talked about. It took me several months to finally commit. The reason? Fuji is a beast of a color, particularly at night but it is creamy (off white). In my opinion, although both are stellar colors, Bianco Italia will take the prize during the day and still compete hard against Fuji during the night.

Once you see that color, it hypnotizes you and you forget everything else.

The two tone isn't free either. having the roof painted (usually is black but you can choose any color) is another 12k. That is if it isn't a premium color. I f you select a premium colors for the roof (which I don't think anybody has as usually people go with Nero or Daytona Nero), there would be an additional charge.

This is what I am talking about. All of these cars are Bianco Italia. How does a color look so different with different lighting? Is it white, is it pearl, is it silver, is it all of the above? I just love it. It may still not justify the entire 32k premium but it certainly gives you a reason to believe it is worth it. You won't see many like them.
