Imagine the second photo a 488 shaped with a V12 in the back The air exits low in the front bumper look like the racing cars. And the rear wheels are from the Monza 21 inch.

That car has a longer wheel base than the mules we've seen. Maybe it's a F8 based one off.

 

You do realise that this is a concept of a track car, not even an actual track car, right?

 

I would say a V12 mid engined mule for the 812 sf replacement.

 

They would test that in a 812, I suppose.

It could be also an Icona car, or whatever.

 

Guys I suspected that there would not be an entry level mid engine car from Ferrari, ie. "Little Brother". I had an opportunity to speak with someone in the know and my suspicions were correct. The v6/v8 hybrid being tested is going to be for the replacement of the F8, and the entry level mid engine car slot is being filled by the MC20. Ferrari sees the Roma and Portofino as the entry slots for them.

Your saying this is the F8 replacement? In mule fashion?

Thanks, this has been pretty much well known since page 1 of this thread, which was from Feb 28th, 2019. BTW, can you tell us when the 812 S will be released? I’ve been dying to know. Or when the 2020 US election will happen?

 

This shot clearly shows screwed on rear wheel guards. Allowing different offset wheel which the Monza has. The front has the same shape a challenge car also and as said before the air intakes.

Good catch on the Challenge nose but why would they test a Challenge car on the road?

 

Confuse all the people taking photographs ? Better set up to record data ?

Looks like longer wheelbase than a 488, is this correct? To me this is key, if it's LWB then it's 100% a V12 mule.

Agree they wouldn't test a Challenge car on the road except for the short route to Fiorano track, maybe. And well I guess the stance and alignment would be much more aggressive if it was the Challenge.

 

In my opinion, too.

About the other car, what the photographer wrote makes the most sense so far: a mule like the 348 "M3".
