cool. I came across my holy grail Gen 2 Rt/10...Silver with Congac interior (only built 50 in that color combo) on ebay in BC (I think) a year ago. At the time I couldnt make it happen and sadly had to let it pass.
That car looks like it needs some paint correction, I would use another example for the color reference.
viper paint of the era was not particularly good. cars are very hit and miss in terms of factory quality
Latest find. 02 GTS ACR. 18k miles. Local. 2 owners. Has been sitting for awhile. 45k USD. Red silver stripes.
Seems like regular Gen 2 Coupes are in that range or higher so IMO yes, I looked it up last night but cant remember exactly they made about 200 of them (ACR) in 02
I would go ACR over FE any day of the week. Rare, more power (smooth tubes and K&N), better suspension, fog light delete and the best wheels. Lower the car on the factory coilovers and add some wheel spacers and it really cleans up the look.
I think you are right. I liked colour scheme better on FEs. I initially thought it was ACR FE not no Hows the ride on ACR?
It's good. I prefer it to the standard suspension because the car is flat in the corners. At a minimum, if you don't go ACR, pick up a set of BC coilovers.
I am the original owner of a Blue with white stripes 97 GTS... it has maybe 8k miles on it and while I do not really drive it much anymore .. its a really cool car and was a beast in its day.. do not know if it will ever be worth anything but mine sits on the rack on the second level where I can look at it every morning .... The Viper back in its day...was something else...IT was a V10 with around 500 hp (490)and tons of torque from idle ....with ZERO NANNYs try that today ....
Pictures please! This car is the car of my generation. We grew up with it. Mids 30s millennials. Along with Diablos these are the poster cars from our generation that are attainable. Plus they just look the business. And can back it up.
Benn tossing around the idea of trading my 2008 ACR with 16k miles, 1 of 36, stock and perfect, for a second generation Gallardo Spyder......so on the fence with this........ Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
