Prost was a McLaren driver who had won 2 titles with TAG engines. Senna was a Honda driver who came from Lotus, bringing the Japanese engines with him. There was already a technical collaboration between the Brazilian and Honda engineers, some followed him at McLaren. So Prost became an outsider in the team, and thought he was receiving less powerful engine than his team mate. Ron Dennis didn't wan't to interfere with his engine supplier. Prost felt let down and left.
Nope it doesn’t, but one wouldn’t expect anything less from you the proud Brit and nationalist. It’s hard to have a conversation with someone whose love for the Queen make him so bias Alonso’s problem was ron Dennis- when he returned Ron was on its way out. That’s that. Ron left in 16? Alonso returned 15/16 and additionally no Ron Dennis. Second aside coulthard who was Scottish and a clear #2 driver , James Watson (lauda’s teammate)was Irish none of them were English in the example your provided and none of them were any good like Hamilton. So definitely not all destroyed. There is a bit of both in this situation- Hamilton being an excellent rookie, in a British team and British driver and Alonso expectations. Amen- William is one funny guy saying you have an agenda [emoji23] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Hamilton still beat him technically in the standings. Still, having a "rookie" tie you as a 2 time champ in his prime, still gives him nightmares.
U also read that in the Sun magazine? it’s also William’s secret favorite along with the mirror Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Why I am not surprised by your response? Plus the amount of dollars Ron Dennis had invested in Hamilton through out his career getting him to F1.
Speaking the truth here! I’ll wait for William’s manufactured response [emoji38] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Sorry Senna didn’t bring the Honda engine to McLaren. Honda already decided to left Williams and wanted Piquet as first choice as teammate for Prost at McLaren. Prost pushed for Senna instead of Piquet because he thought Senna was a best long term choice for McLaren. Incredibly Prost thought McLaren was his family and wanted the best for the team. All of this his own words.
Yes its been stated time and time again that Dennis was invested in Lewis as he saw his special talent from carting, some drivers are so special you have no choice but to back them
Thre is this word called "class" that comes to mind........ a) because Alonso still wants to drive F1 cars !! b) because Ron Dennis is no longer there !! c) because Alonso was offered a seat ..
First of all it's spelt Karting not carting. Secondly, part of the reason that he invested early on was because of his ethnic/race background. Diversity in the sport was becoming important. I have seen very special drivers in the sport that have not made it. No one is going to just write you a check early on in your career no matter how good you are.
Hamilton had/has a lot of talent he definitely deserved being invested in as his results shown, it was also a positive thing he is bi-racial for sure. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
