Defrosting a moms sauce for spaghetti and meatballs. Cheating with the meatballs. Kirkland Italian style. I almost forgot having a cooked turkey in my garage fridge. Used it to make enchiladas last night..............................................

Those Costco meatballs are pretty good. Last night we tried Kirkland grass fed burgers for the first time (or the first time that I can remember!). They were very good. Grilled on the gasser. Missus was impressed. We prepped them simply. Sliced tomatoes and a small jolt of hot sauce for me...T

Looks yummy. Did you dry it on a rack in the fridge for 24 hours?

We have steak on the menu for tonight. Tomahawk chop! The plan is reverse sear. It's in the oven now. Gonna try to pull it at about 125 F internal, then sear on the grill using bacon fat!

Lentils to go with. Onions, tomatoes, spices, green lentils, water. Simmer.

I was in Puerto Rico a few weeks ago and had a “Puerto Rican” paella. Very different from the Spanish version but delicious. I went ahead and tried to replicate it, turned out pretty good.

This paella contains beef, pork, chorizo, kidney beans and fried sweet plantains. It was served with tostones, which are basically fried green plantains. Very delicious.

Never heard of Puerto Rican paella! I'm surprised the dish calls for sweet and not green plantains...T

First time hearing it as well. There is sweet plantain inside and it is served with the tostones on the side.

No *****, next to the Texas 4 course State meal (chicken fried steak, green beans, German potatoes and a slice of white bread) the ol' deer steak rollover is as Texas as you get...

For me (pre diabetes), the biggest question used to be ketchup or mustard on a rollover.

9 out of 10 times it was ketchup, but I liked the zinginess of mustard every now and then.

My dogs love deer meat, which makes butchering real easy now. Just back straps and tenderloins for us (+/- one bottom round if it feels tender), the rest gets cubed or turned into chili meat for my pups....

I'm craving Americanized Chinese food. Trying to talk my family into getting take out and eating it at my place. It only makes sense to order the dinner specials. We normally order the dinner for six.

Fatburger is Canada's best fast food burger. The bonus they have a liquor license and serve beer, wine and mixed drinks.

Tonight i cooked chicken soup with carrots and rice. My fiancé liked it very much.
It was the appropriate meal because today we had a really cold and rainy weather.

I did leave them in the fridge on a drying rack. Tasted good so I guess it worked.

Always kicking it up a notch with your meals tom!
