Vettel I think needs a shrink- his mind is out of it.

Hamilton has seen more pressure in his career than Verstappen.

I think he is not calm enough. The thing he did with Perez he did with ocon in Brazil. He needs to mature first

Just imagine you know you are one of the fastest driver for years,
You are only waiting a competitive car to fight for the title.
In the end Red Bull fail to deliver such a car year after year.
Could you keep your cool at all time ?

I just think it’s his personality:passionate and hot blooded.
Look already with Leclerc at a young age. Max needs to chill otherwise he will be a glorified Montoya 2.0

It will always be pressure or frustration of some sort. Even if he had a more competitive car. Its actually more pressure when fighting for points in a championship battle.

Jos has had a role in Max's character and that's why Max is the way he is.

Jos ain't no "angel" outside of F1.

Hamilton's Mercedes also has incredible reliability. I cannot recall the last time his car suffered a technical DNF.

His engineers definitely have the edge.

Hamilton is really good at holding his team to perform at a high standard, he makes few mistakes and errors, this motivates his team to perform & reward him the same. Lewis is just a driving force for the team, just like past drivers Senna, Schumacher

Credit to Toto for this. He is the team principal. Look at what Claire William’s did!
Not saying Hamilton doesn’t play a part but Toto is the leader behind the scenes I’d say.

Of course I give credit that is due to team principals. Ron was a leader behind the scenes with Senna, Brawn with Schumi, now Toto with Hamilton, but those drivers motivated the team to perform better.

Agreed, the same weekend Max Verstappen raced with us at Las Vegas Supernats( look at my original Thread about Max Verstappen). Jos almost kicked one of the mechanic ass under our pit because he thought they looked at his girlfriend. Crazy!

    +1

it also could be argued that he wasn't in the championship this year (due to car performance), so taking on more risk keeping his foot in wasn't going to change the end result of WDC anyways.

I think Max being effectively under Christian Horner's wing these days is a good thing. Jos isn't at all races any more.

Very true. It is a known and proven fact that the French invented French so the Italians, Germans, and Spanish could not understand them. The French language is the Euro version of the Navajo code whisperers.
