What is the current market price is for LF? Can one rely on interent pricing? Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat
Agreed. Unfortunately, for some odd reason, it seems many (if not most) LaFerrari's were ordered by their original owners with black wheels. As I've mentioned before, I actually blame Ferrari for allowing their flagship car to be ordered with certain awful options (proving that having money doesn't necessarily equate to having good taste). They should have followed their previous trend with the 288, F40, F50 and Enzo, allowing for very limited, if any, options/choices.
I am in favor of silver wheels as well, but we unfortunately, we are in the minority. The majority of LaF's coupe's - and even Aperta's - are with black/satin grey rims. These are owner selected choices, which I assume only means that a larger and larger percentage of buyers like the blacked out look. A related issue is rim design in general. Ferrari has, in my opinion, scored poorly in this area. From the amorphous rim design on the 550 Maranello, to countless other bland rim designs on what are otherwise gorgeously designed cars, somehow affects the total package IMO, or at least, doesn't allow the vehicle to reach it's full potential. I have seen some really nice rim designs emerge in some of their more recent models, but, as an example, the LaF's 5-spoke "pinched" rim design - thicker at the center and narrowing as you move out - which, by the way, is similar to what the 458 has in terms of design intent, doesn't do such am imposing car justice IMHO. Don't even get me started on the wheel-to-fender gap.
I don't care about them, history will judge I care about this one , four wheels from four dealers to make the Laf Great Again My hero https://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/threads/new-laferrari-owner-very-grateful.628558/
Benjamin Rothschilds LaFerrari Solid blue, no black roof. Would be perfect with silver rims. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
No. BR's has a black carbon roof, silver wheels. The pix posted above (post #10344) show a LF with German plates from Gütersloh ("GT"). BR does not live in Germany, he lives in Switzerland, his cars have mostly Swiss plates (if any at all). Marcel Massini
