Thanks for posting the photos! There certainly is a family resemblance. Maybe Ferrari will create a 'long-nose' Roma with a V12 and call it Daytona Due.

I don't care how many tickets I get, I am not mounting any license plate on the front of my Roma (when I get one).

I agree, a number plate really detracts from the design. I’ve seen some where the plate is mounted up against the mesh, and it doesn’t look quite as bad. Also seen plates mounted flat, lying on the front skirt. Here in the UK they are strict, I’m undecided what I’m going to do?

Think you missed the point of my post. It was not to suggest one not do their research or Not consider other views but to ultimately purchase what works for you. It seems to me there are a lot of folks that suggest you must order certain options or color combinations even if it’s not something you want or even appeals to you. This seems to start with the salespeople but also finds it’s way into the rhetoric of the internet. If you’re very concerned about resale I guess that may be important. Regardless, I hope you enjoy your car.

I never knew these existed until recently when a friend showed me that he had it installed on his Maserati Gran Turismo. His is manual, but you can get it remote operated. Maybe this would be a solution for you.

This is just one site, you can do some searches.

I love the Roma and had a chance to see one a few days ago in person. It seems the Roma nose looks better than the tail. They must have spent more time on the nose due to the regulations. The tail lights are creative and I like them but I like the (Sorry to mention on this Roma thread) Mazda Vision sedan's adaptation better. It even looks more classic Italian than the Roma. The Vision sedan's tail is very much like the Bizzarrini P538 and Alfa Canguro of the 1960's.

My pictures of the Roma and press photos of the Vision sedan wich has similarities to the long nose Roma in several ways. Not sure wich headlight design I like better. If bigger is better Ferrari wins. I like the curving up over the front wheels arches also. It is the Italian way of modeling curves like they do so well.

I hope this trend in car design continues as I am so tired high nose cars with massive grills. This Roma proves you can make a beautiful car and still meet European regulations, although it does make alot of overhang in the front.

Hi, I am thinking of configuring the Roma with the historical color Grigio scuro. Are there any pics of the Roma in this color?

Nope...and it’s a little weird. Jason is checking but I would have thought it would be here this week or next since I am flying it over. Maybe he is waiting to tell me until it’s actually here. In Sonoma for the week so probably better next week but if it magically shows up I am driving down to get it!

What is its status? Is it on the plane?

I’ll ping Jason again on Monday to see if mine’s progressed. Or maybe we’ll share the same flight? Sleeping cabin for them??

Saw one in the wild amongst ordinary traffic today. Can confirm, she’s stunning in person.

Not sure on status. Jason is checking but haven’t heard. Was going to ping him again on Monday. They might be on the same sharing the cabin!

The bright silver grill really helps with the nose of the Roma, having seen it in person with that color (grigio titanio).
