Hi, the driver side outer fin (plastic, non carbon fiber) snapped clean off on my 488. Right now it looks like 2000$ CAD to replace (plus paint plus tax plus install) for just one fin! (I know it's a ferrari...).

    Looking at some options;

Fabspeed full carbon fibre diffuser replacement 4K$
Replace all fins only carbon fibre 2.5K$ Novitec

As the car is lowered, would prefer plastic again as probability is high of knocking off another one.

    Thoughts? thanks

Looking at my 488 diffuser...it looks like bare plastic not painted. I have seen guys paint them to match the color of the car though.

I put my 488 on Novitec but didn't go real low as fear of spending big bucks of underside parts. I can stick get a finger or 2 between the tire and fender.

Same. My 458 is lowered but I was conservative with the drop for fear of damaging things like this. Simply didn't want the stress.

    MyRicambi is another 4K option:

I ow a 458 but the 488 has a diffuser set up like mine does (similar).

You can replace the fins in non carbon at a lower cost than what you are looking at.
I see online a cost of about $760 for the outside fin and whatever you need to pay for painting if it needs to be done.

Last Summer I dropped my diffuser in my garage and took it to my friend and body shop owner.
He is a great guy and a great friend who I tell everybody to go to when they ask me where to go for quality work.
As I took it off (only a handful of bolts) myself and would reinstall it myself, he charged me a minimum amount for paint.
Not sure what is involved in R/R on a 488 but I would think it might be just as easy.

Good luck with this project. Let us know how it turns out.

    Regards,
    Gene Greer

    I agree with Eugene !

Take the diffuser of (DIY) and bring it to any carbody repairshop.

They can easily create one for you for a reasonable price … and bolt it on …

    Nobody will notice ...

I can't remember where, but I bought a single fin for my 458. It came primed so I spray painted it to match.
