I was looking at the maintenance schedule I created for the F430 according to what the dealer provided during my PPI a couple of years ago (see attached) and the following items caught my attention.

Change A/C Filter - Evacuate system and install new filter and Freon, check oil level - Due every 15k miles.

Replace accessory (Serpentine) belt - Due every 15k miles.

Replace oxygen sensor - Due every 30k miles starting at 25k miles.

Replace active charcoal trap (I'm assuming this is a fuel vapor canister) - Due every 30k miles starting at 25k miles.

I'm curious how many people are doing this per the dealer schedule. I read a lot about fluid and spark plug changes but not things like flushing the freon every 15k miles or proactively replacing the 02 sensors every 30k miles. Just curious.

You might only get 6000 out of the pulley belt, depends on its age as well.
A/c freon drier- unless you feel a drop in temp over the in and outlet pipes then leave it alone.
Not sure on the O2 sensor or the charcoal trap

preemptively replacing an O2 sensor sounds stupid! Especially when they are so easy to get to and are not catastrophic failures. On a daily driver, they can go 100,000. I have coworkers that have never replaced their O2 sensors on commuter cars.

Three items I recommend replacing at least every ten years:

    F1 Hydraulic accumulator
    Charcoal filter
    Serpentine belt

Serpentine belt will go for us 360 owners with every belt change. The rest as needed. Dealership PPI.. I have to go to the bathroom, can I borrow that?
I'm surprised it didn't say replace both seats in the occupant compartment for leather wear.. ;)

    1. serpentine belt, inspection only. Replace only when its cracked.
    2. no o2 sensor replacement until it gives me a cel.
    3. a/c filter: clean them. replace only when it is real real dirty and would take more than 10 min to clean. never replace feon until a/c is no longer cool or the ac pump is giving a noise.
    4. charcoal canister: only when it gives me a problem when re-fueling.

The AC filter is actually the receiver/dryer/filter that tries to keep water (and junk) out of the system. Changes were even more frequent on older Ferraris. Our AC systems are not the most modern.

My Ferrari specialist mechanic changes the serpentine/accessory belt every two years or 12,500 miles according to his website as part of the F430 two year service (Biennial service). I will be having him perform that work this winter when I bring the car in for my new exhaust.

The AC dryer is really inexpensive and keeps water from destroying the compressor. I would think that is one of the easier things to overlook but has good benefits.

I just changed my serp belt and super easy w 15mm once the under car cover is removed.
