Yep. Talked to Jason today. For everyone else, FoSV was sold to Indigo Auto Group. But only FoSV. Other properties not sold. Nor the race team. Evidently deal closed today! My car still stuck at status 85! SV
A couple of pics from this am. Drove it around in the city this am and was very impressed w the ride on less than ideal streets. Zig zagging in and out of traffic was a breeze. To our cousins on the other side of the pond, the width seems very manageable. I have driven your B roads many a time and I think you will be please try surprised. Still learning the systems since the manual didn’t make it for the flight , but it’s mostly intuitive. I get the complaints over the haptics but after some time in the car you learn to avoid the accidental touch of the voice commands. With that said, I believe it’s the same wheel in the sf90 and that could be a disaster if you are on the track with gloves on (or even off)....I don’t plan to track the Roma so no bother for me but if this was an sf90....not sure how I would feel about it. Is that a powered turn-table to help you navigate in and out of the driveway? If so that is super cool.
Oh man what a beauty! Mine is built in April and delivered June. But i have never seen one in person. Watched 100s of videos. I'm very curious, do you think it looks better in person then any of the pics you've seen? Man I can't wait for June for me. Such a movable piece of artwork! Oh.. that huge turn table is hilarious! Never seen anything like that. :-D Wow.. so envious...
Interior looks flawless. My Porsche Taycan Turbo was a level I had never seen in cars before. This seems as good or better. WOW.
Congrat's!~ Looks great. I hope to see it on some No. Bay club drives soon. Are you doing the Jan.1 anti-football drive with FCA?
One one question.. I got the premium sound too. Seemed like you really thought it was fabulous. Ok i gotta take a chill pill.
Funny...I also have a taycan turbo...although my xm isn’t working so in the shop (side not, they had like 5 recall updates so may be worth a check if yours hasn’t been in yet). They Have taken it to the next level. Stereo is fantastic after some tweaking. I have splurged for burmester, b and o on others and this sounds the best to be...by a margin. Take the pill . But make sure u adjust the equalizer before judging.
It is...but it's powered by my foot . Bought the house a couple of years ago in SF and it was there. It’s actually extremely useful and unbelievably balanced. We had a ranger rover on and got it spinning so fast one night. Amazing how a bunch of late 40’s guys can regress back to the teen years.
Yep. Blue Roma. Interior is black, couio and Sabbia. glenn-yes, much prettier in person which surprised me as I loved the pics. Feels more compact overall. I really don’t think anyone will be disappointed that ordered.
Yeah burmester in taycan best sound I’ve ever heard. So crisp and clear. No I haven’t had it in. I’ll call tomorrow and ask if they apply to me. Image Unavailable, Please Login
I think I can answer this for you. In photos, the Roma is low-slung and, without a frame of reference, her long hood gives the impression the car will be rather long and large in life. This is not the case. In person, the Roma has fairly compact dimensions. She's still low-slung with a long hood, but in a scale that looks about 85-90% to how it appears in photos. Also, from the driver's seat, the car seems to wrap around you, having a very taught feel and compact nature when driving. All of this makes it Better in reality, in my opinion.
From my test drive I absolutely agree. To emphasize this, in another post I mentioned how perfect it would be for my wife, due to its compactness and nimbleness (if those are words).
